It'd be perfectly reasonable to say "I hope Geno doesn't start for an extended period, as I solely want to see if Lock can be a future answer at the spot due to his youth and upside."
That's a fine opinion to have! It makes some sense, even.
It's not reasonable, however, to straight up be wrong and demonstrably wrong about his current level of play just to suit your own narrative.
There is one, and only one, reasonable take on Geno's play this preseason - and that's that "it's been pretty solid." It's abundantly clear.
Will it be good next week? Will it be good in the regular season? Will he be consistently good? Totally up for debate. But stop lying.
