Sounders thread is around the corner

(and before you go super fan on me... its rivalry week, so do one)

Easy nancy, Damn. Just cause United and Paddy McNair are punching above their weight class right now doesnt mean you have to get all up in my face.

I am not the one to blame for your club purchasing Balloteli (Like really, what did you expect from that?).

You're season isn't going well right now. A win against United won't change that. Just won't.

Focus on Europe this year. Doubt you'll have it next.

(Did I do that right?)

Alright. We deserve this.

Bastard.

we certainly deserve this... but not from a Sounders fan

Don't hate on the messenger, or his team that can't beat the Galaxy when it counts.

i wasnt even hating on you. i was hating on United.

beating United on Sunday would do a lot. i know you understand this. you can troll it around the board like a preening pony all you want, but you're smarter than that.

I don't think Liverpool can beat United.

I think they can. United hasnt been anything more than organized. They lack depth, pace and quality in many spots. Shit, right now they ARE Liverpool, with a better keeper (and yes, a better manager).

more importantly, beating United brings them 3 points closer to a team who occupies third. so step away from your hyperbolic mantle of arrogance

Youre better than this Smurf. Maybe you're just used to running the Sounders thread, i dont know. maybe just get over yourself a little

It will be an interesting game to say the least.

United are playing pretty decently as a unit right now. Really fighting for the cause.

Also, I'm nothing without hyperbole. Always been that way. its not a new thing.

Interesting is probably the best way to describe it. I do think United have sorted themselves out mentally. But De Gea has been the reason they are in third, not 9th. lets be real here. That group isnt very dynamic, with or without Di Maria.

Liverpool on the other hand are a mid-table team with a relegation mindset. They showed some fight the last 30 of last nights game. Whether they carry that with them into the weekend is a toss up in reality. They need a talisman. there isnt one on the roster.

The Balo thing... noone expected him to net 20, but noone expected zero goals. I think many expected goals though. Its not like he's been a problem, he just isnt what the team needed (once Sturridge went down).

Oh and screw Wankchester United for wearing blue shirts every season as their alternate now.

I'd take a mentally fortified team with an awesome keeper over a team thats trying its best to get relegated.

United may not be fully deserving of third, but they are working hard for it, and have survived through a bunch of injuries.

whats wrong with blue?

Nothing...Blue is the Colour.

And Chelsea is the name.

Wankchester United is Red. Appropriate for all the blood money donated by Fergie to all the refs in his pocket.

Which brings me to my third point.

F--- United.

No, I'd take United over Liverpool. If the roles were reversed, I'd still take United.

Its football, rationalism has little place.

I agree.

And I wish I wasn't such a plastic that fell for Chelsea first, because I kinda like Tottenham and Aston, but I'm Blue till I die.

I mean, Danny Dwyer made a movie about us for petes sake. :34853_doh:

Which brings me interestingly to my 4th point.

F-- United.

No you are correct, good sir. Liverpool is red too.

It's just that Si and I are bound by the fact that we both hate Mancs. To further complicate things, I like the Sounders.

Which brings me to my fifth point.

F-- United
