I would LOVE for DK to turn into Antonio Brown.

He isn't there yet.

One of the best QBs in history wanted Brown, for good reason. Nobody cares about the other stuff if you win a SB, which he helped do.

DK doesn't have great hands but he can be a great weapon if he focuses more. But no, throwing to him on 3rd down isn't a great idea unless you have to...because his hands are iffy. He is just so big and strong that if he catches it he would be hard to bring down. But throwing to him has to be with the understanding he will drop a few.

Its why I took Lockett instead of him in my fantasy league. Not sure DK will ever mature.

This kid has been listening to the hype machine, and is believing it. The problem is he hasn't done $h!t, but he acts like he has been in the league for 5 years, and is a perennial pro bowler.

YUP. ^^^^^^ this. I've been saying it since last season.

It's getting worse. And, it's gonna break and fracture more, IMO - particularly as it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy with DK. We suck, so he gets frustrated even more. More penalties. More "gimmie the ball". More T.O.

30 yards in penalties on taunting and an almost ejection from the game TWICE?! Um, people, we're only in game 2.

Ever since he jumped on the camera stand last season vs the Jets I was worried he'd become a diva and distraction. As usual, I got roasted and attacked personally on here. Nothing new there.

Today was a horrific game for DK. Dumb penalties, lack of awareness. He let the dirty Titans get into his head.

I agree with everything you said except maybe the final statement. The NFL has to have certain behavioral rules, or else the game becomes little more than a street fight. It's not that the NFL wants him to fail. They just want him to play within a reasonable set of rules. It's DK's fault for not having enough maturity or self-control to do what most other players are able to do.

I didn't roast you - i think you're spot on. The camera stunt was horrific (okay, hyperbole). Nothing's right since then -

Titans didn't get in his head. The rundown. The olympic trials. The voices in his own head. They're already there.

I honestly hope he gets it under control - but I don't think he will. I also think it will cause the team quite a bit of harm. They're already starting to dance around his 'gimmie the ball' routine.

I was just telling my wife this morning - at least if we had snagged Brown we'd have some production to match the bullshit!

Just my opinion. Wanna love the kid - but he's making it really really really tough.

To much hate for DK. Dude is a stud that plays physical. I promise you Lockett isn't putting up the numbers he is without DK on the field, plus it's not like DK has played bad the first two weeks outside of the penalties. When the year is over he will lead this team in yards and TD's so calm down everybody.

I agree with this.

Lockett is getting open and one on one coverage because of the attention DK commands but DK is also becoming a diva.

His newly found fame is somewhat inflating his ego and he thinks he is going to bully and easily defeat secondaries but this is not the case.

He needs to be humbled and just get back to playing ball without the “look at me persona” and trash talking opponents.

Tyreek Hill had 3 catches for 14 yards in the chiefs loss…..they better cut that diva, no way he will be anything other than a distraction.

Come on people I get the frustration after a loss but really…. “DK sucks because his hair is colored or he is a diva mad about Lockett’s production, or he does to much in the off season” is nothing more than lame hot takes from people that seem to expect perfection and subservient personalities.

And we all know that some of the posters talking trash probably haven’t been successful with anything in this life. Hell that poser that sullies KJ’s name can’t even troll above a grade school level.
