DemarcNo?
Too soon…my bad.

You must not be very old.Dremont was one of the worst signings eva!
Name chasing is a major JS failing that he won't stop. I think most of us can name several he signed that underperformed their cost and contract.
Not trying to over react but 30+ year old with recent injury issues and little gas left in the tank. Feels like a stupid move in what may be 12 games on the field in 2 years if we are lucky at 1/2 of what he used to be.
I'd rather have a 20 something year old that was the last DE cut from the team with the best DE group in the NFL or a PS DE on a great defensive team (though I am not sure how that works in the off-season - maybe you can't).
You would have a point if the contract he signed was hard to get out of. As it is its 18 mill guaranteed. If he fails this year it won't be hard to move on next year.Name chasing is a major JS failing that he won't stop. Hope the foot injury ain't too sketchy.Name chasing is a major JS failing that he won't stop. I think most of us can name several he signed that underperformed their cost and contract.

I have to imagine it is fully healed. They were saying he could have come back towards the end of last year but the Cowboys were so bad it wasn't worth it.Hope the foot injury ain't too sketchy.
Dave Wyman said on 710 that during his last year for the Seahawks he had a Lisfranc injury and when he went for some physical testing during the free agency testing it was completely healed he noted he did nothing to get it to healApparently he had Lisfranc injury last year. I find that concerning. Can be hard to come back from.
It’s agent speak they will always mention the inflated total amount, the non guaranteed portion will never see the light of day. With Seahawks contracts they all max out on 3 yrs, the way they get worded there is usually a team out after 2 yrs. When they have a contract I will take the guaranteed amount and minus 1 year from the total.Surprising move to me. I have heard multiple talking heads over the last few years say concentrate on the guaranteed money vs the overall value of the contract reported. So looking at 18M and not the full $42M
Short of PT most of those injuries require to not use it - so basically doing less is moreDave Wyman said on 710 that during his last year for the Seahawks he had a Lisfranc injury and when he went for some physical testing during the free agency testing it was completely healed he noted he did nothing to get it to heal
The spectacle to make their work look badass and their clients feel all good - like politicians without the scumminess - well…….It’s agent speak they will always mention the inflated total amount, the non guaranteed portion will never see the light of day. I expect the real value of the Lawrence contract to be 2 yrs $18 million
Except for rookie contracts can you think of any recent Seahawk contract longer than 3 yrs?Already seeing articles about us not addressing the OLine and our window passing us by. Is there really a ban on 5 year contracts? With these last two signings I have to say, 30something FA's with little left in the tank are not the ticket. The Seahawks have a history of signing over priced washed FA's who stunk. If we are just bringing in bodies to fill out the roster, I'd rather wait for day 3 of the draft & preseason cutdowns.
But you know how GMs are, always swinging for the fences hoping for a little luck to get to a SB.
It's a league wide trend.Except for rookie contracts can you think of any recent Seahawk contract longer than 3 yrs?
Unless you are one of the stud QBs. When Mahomes signed his contract it was a 10 yr, the most recent was the Josh Allen extension of 6 yrs/ $330 million with $250 million guaranteedIt's a league wide trend.
