The article (which I'll link below but is probably behind a paywall) says that Lawrence has made the Seahawks' pass rush so much better. In games 4 and 5, when Lawrence didn't play due to injury, the Seahawks ranked 29th in pressure rate. When Lawrence plays, the Seahawks are 8th in pressure rate. Just look at the difference between the Bucs game and the Jaguars game. The article even suggests that despite all the talk of Micah Parsons leaving, the Cowboys' defense misses Lawrence too.
On PFF, Lawrence is the Seahawks' highest rated edge rusher, just ahead of Nwosu. The article also points out that despite all the injuries in the secondary, the Seahawks rank 4th in defensive DVOA.
I was skeptical about signing him for $42 million/3 years, but I guess it's another move from the off-season that's worked out.

Divine Deablo, Poona Ford among 5 most impactful defensive free-agent signings so far
Milton Williams, DeMarcus Lawrence and Charvarius Ward round out additions who've sparked improvement for their new teams.
