Couple this with no press coverage on the outside and you see why they easily beat the blitz when they telegraphed it was coming. Blitz needs to get home quickly and you essentially nullify sending more guys because receivers have 5-10 yards of cushion for an easy pass.
I think even more frustrating is how obvious the blitz packages are. If they are playing soft zone, obvious with LB's back in middle of the field. If blitzing, everyone at the LOS is coming. There is no real confusion for QB's or protection assignments. Watching how Arizona and Buffalo showed so many different pre-snap alignments was awesome. Had no idea who was coming or who was dropping into normal coverage. Don't understand why that's such a hard concept for this coaching staff.
