Flipping off Pete was unacceptable. I'm not buying the heat of the moment thing. Pete ALWAYS had his players backs. Always.
He shouldn't get a pass because he was LOB.
This!!!!!!!

The one two combination punch of "Come get me" and the bird, was too much for me. The Seattle Seahawks did not deserve to be insulted by a player.

As others already stated, he wasn’t the only player pissed at the coaching staff to the point of flipping off the coach, even though it happened on tv…

what happened in Dallas was un-called for tho…he owns that one

Unfortunately for the 34-year-old, the math on acquiring him has changed considerably following his tenure in Baltimore.

'When your bulls*** quotient exceeds your production, you are gone,' one executive told The Athletic in 2021.

At the time, the Texans were considering Thomas, but according to The Athletic, Houston players approached coaches to express their concerns about him.

Thomas wasn't signed in the end, and has remained away from the game ever since.

This organization was good to Earl and made him one of the highest paid safeties in the league, for him to turn on us like that is unforgivable. His offenses are even more egregious because he did them in uniform.

The only player I would excuse for that behavior is Kenny Easley, and even he has carried himself with more dignity.

I feel the same way, when he ran into Cowboys' locker wearing our uniform, he disrespected the uniform, team and 12s. That included me.

When he fingered towards our sideline, he disrespected the coaching staff, uniform, players, and 12s. That again included me

He was not in the military, at war. If he were, his actions shall be court martial, with dire consequences.

He deserves all the disrespect and hardships he experienced since he insulted the Hawks. From unemployable to marital and financial hardships, he earned them.

He was a GREAT player on the field for us, and he was justifiably rewarded by the team as the highest paid safety, and, by the 12s with love. No, 12 and the team didn't deserve the insults.

I had trouble with the "bitter/hurt" wording so had to choose "unsure". Earl ruined things with the middle finger to the fans and Pete. Earl was a great player in his prime and will always be remembered for being a key part of the SB48 Super Bowl team.

I'm more "indifferent" to Earl than bitter/hurt. Earl has created his own karma and his own problems since leaving the Seahawks. I don't really keep track of him and honestly hadn't though about him in a long time. Someone labeled him the "defensive Antonio Brown", which makes some sense, but Earl, to my knowledge, hasn't gone full-full nutjob like AB, or at least not enough to be in the media for brainless schitt almost weekly. The tag teaming a girl with his brother or whoever and his wife finds them pulls a gun, that's comedy gold. Anyone have a link to a recap of that incident, since I don't think I got the particulars quite right?

If Earl is trying to re-connect with the team and the fans, and his positive legacy in Seattle, good for him.
