A Hawks W gets the team the #2 seed and a playoff bye, will they get it done?

My bet is they will and they will do it convincingly. Their D has improved markedly since the arrival of Diggs. The pass rush has woken up.

RW has a MVP game and the Hawks win 31-17. Both Carson and Penny run for 100+. Seahawks control 34 minutes of clock. Cousins is picked off 2x. Minnie turns it over 3 times each is costly.

A win doesn't give the Seahawks the #2 seed and a playoff bye. It just positions them for that particular seed if the playoffs were to start right then, which it won't.

Win out though, guarantees either the #1 or #2 seed. If SF beats NO next week and we win out, we get #1 seed.

Well, the last two games against the vikes have been pretty ugly on offense - that playoff game due to weather, and last year's game. It may have ended up 21-7, but that game was 3-0 going into the 4th quarter.

It's not "always" but the last two times out against the vikes were pretty ugly so I can see why there is that feeling.
