Panthers, Per DVOA :

DVOA %Rank (NFL)
Total Defense6.2%23rd
Passing Defense13.8%24th
Rushing Defense-3.0%14th

And that Pass Defense ranking is WITH Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson.

This is a team where Kubiak needs to let Sam rip it more often than not.

I hope they don't go full conservative because that will help the Kitties hang around and you don't want that shit.

My prediction is they air it out at the start, get out to a big lead, then lean on the Running game and Defense the rest of the way.

35 - 13 Hawks.

This will look ugly early. I could see our beloved Seahawks getting behind 10-0 early. Carolina is a better team than people want to admit. They have quality wins, a stout defense, a qb coach / head coach that is getting everyone to buy in, and if they win their last two games they take their division.

There’s no quit in Seattle, and they play well on the road. I think the Hawks take a come from behind game and win it in the 4th quarter.

Seahawks….. 22
Carolina………. 20
Or in true Jekyll and Hyde fashion they start off lights out and then let the panthers make it close

They don’t get pressure. Sam should carve them up. 31-17
Wouldn't be surprised if this is the same score against the Niners whose fans think they're offensive juggernauts all of a sudden just 'cause they beat up on a Colts team whose Defense never showed up but I'm veering off-topic here.

Sam, JSN, and Company should feast.

The Panthers have held 3 of their last 4 opponents to 20 or less point sans the Rams (28 points, who they beat). They like to slow it down and keep the game close.

Panthers point scoring differential over the last 4 games is only 9 points- total, and that includes games against Rams and 49ers. I’d love to see the Seahawks win and blow out the Panthers, but I wouldn’t count on it.

Turnovers and the kicking game will be key in this game.

Providing your tea leaves are correct - it could end up being a blow out or anything in between.

As long as the Hawks get the W, it’s all good.

We need this game MUCH more than they do, we are way more talented, and we have more rest so I predict a blowout, Seahawks 38 Panthers 9.

Well this game proved that the Panthers played far better than their DVOA ranking shows.

I bet their road record is more like their ranking and they're actually ranking 5-6 levels higher at home.

I predicted a more dominant W with the Hawks having an 18 point W,. It was 17 and the D was flat out smothering. The panthers are a good team but they were owned today by the Hawks D. Sam did not have a great game but he was certainly more than adequate though frustrating to watch at times. Let’s hope this isn’t a pattern

Negativity aside our team is now 13-3 and beat a good team today which the D simply stuffed. Carolina is a good team that is emerging but they still are a bit away.

Bring on the Digits for the marbles.

Good news is that the Digits showed that they are god-awful on Defense so Sam and the offense should be able to get back in gear in this game.

Would you say we showed the same against the Rams, that our D was suspect?

Huh?

It's..the Rams. 🤨

They're the outlier here.

Every other team, we've had the better play of it defensively when our D is relatively healthy.

And besides, don't forget in the First Rams game, our D was awesome.

Not sure why you're throwing shade in my direction.

Got the 27 right. I'm digging the 27-10 result much more than the close game I expected :)
