(Early Fearless thread due to the next game being on Thursday night.)

I strongly feel the Seahawks looked past the Colts a bit, knowing full well perhaps the game of the year for them is in four days. Whether that’s true or not, I’m going with that.

First thing I heard after the win was “They have no chance against the Rams.”

That is such lazy logic I won’t even acknowledge it with a response. Smart NFL fans know that how one game goes has nothing to do with how the next game goes.

This Thursday, under the bright lights of Primetime, at home, wearing their filthy Rivals uniforms (that helmet is straight 🔥)…Knowing damn well their nemesis stands between them and the #1 seed?

Watch out. Buckle up. If you think the Seahawks will look as anemic and flat against the Rams as they did against the Colts, think again my friends.

We almost beat them in their house with Sam’s worst performance of the year. I think with all the variables at play this week…

Hawks in a close one.

Aros’ Fearless Prediction: Seahawks 24 - Rams 21

Aros’ Fearless Record: 10-4

The soft 'opening line' is Rams -1 to -1.5 which equates to the Rams being a 51-52% favourite. This should include Davante Adams being out, (but might not). I think by Thursday the public will have bet on the Seahawks and moved the line in their direction.

I suspect the Hawks will be favored by 1.5 or something like that. It could go either way.

I'm going to have to strap you down in a chair with your eyelids held open, AROS, like that guy in A Clockwork Orange, and force you to watch the game live. I won't forget the eyedrops.

Argh. This might be a repeat of a grinder. I suspect the slow offense is by design. Limit risk. Unfortunately, the running game is not effective enough to play this way. Really missed Outz today. Rams are going be tough. Defense has to force turnovers on Thursday.

Seahawks…. 26
Rams ..……… 24

Should be a battle. I would hope we come out with the short yardage quick passing scheme mixed with run and open it up as we go. JSN JSN. Jsn.
On defense I hope to see 5 or more getting to rush the qb. My boy Emmanwori getting home.

Seahawks 21
Rams 19

I also strongly think that Seattle looked past the Colts. A little too much. The defense looked nothing like the defense of previous weeks. Almost as if they were "cruising" and not putting their best foot forward until mid 3rd quarter.

The offense were getting hammered by Colts defense. There's no ifs or buts about that. I think we fix that before Thursdays game.

My prediction is it's going to be a SLOBBER KNOCKER of a game(summoning my ol' JR impression. If you know, you know)

The Hawks are looking for revenge. The defense lights it up.

Prediction: 24-20 Hawks.

If you can’t get up for this game, I don’t want you on my team. Battle for #1 overall is on the line. To be the best you have to beat the best. It’s time.

I doubt the Hawks are favoured this game. EDIT: Rams favoured by 1.5 at our house. Frankly the Hawks are starting too slow, and truly cannot consistently run the ball with any legitimate effectiveness. .Darnold struggles when pressured. The Rams will bring the heat hoping for as many mistakes as last game.

I predict an unfortunate disappointment and a hard fought battle by the D. However, I cannot pick against my team.

Hopefully Sam surprises with some dimes and scratches out a close W.

Hawks 23- Rams 20. The whole NFL media mis-predicts a Hawks L as they continue their “Hawks are good, BUT” very tiresome schtick.

I watched the whole game and especially a few plays very keenly live. Either ErnJones is hurt or he was just in cruise control trying not to get hurt.

Both Nacua and Adams were injured in their game yesterday. I believe Adams has the more serious injury of the two. But at least one of them will most likely be out. In this one, the Seahawks will have Julian Love. So the Seahawk secondary should be much better than the last time.

Adams re-injured his hamstring. He was questionable because of it, then played hard and went down with no contact. I highly doubt he plays on Thursday.

Puka just had a cramp and was only out of the game briefly then came right back in and played. He wasn't injured.

Too bad about Adams. It would have been nice to see both teams go at it while fully healthy.

Not quite. Puka was cramping up after his big day vs the Lions and will be fine on Thursaday. Davante will be out, most likely on Thurs., but should be back for the playoffs.
