He’s regressed. However, opposing teams have figured him out. Any team with a competent DC will be able to shut him down. Geno is starting to exhibit rookie like skills. He’s locking into one receiver, holding ball too long, and sitting in the pocket while it’s caving in.

Exactly which is why I think the fire Waldron crowd is over simplifying things. Execution is a major reason why he’s struggling

I've written off Geno and Waldren. They're both the problem.

If Waldron had CMC, Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle and Williams (and the rest of their O-line), he'd do just fine.

We just don't have the horses on offense that the Whiners do... it's just that simple.

I actually think we do have a ton of talent at our skill position and it’s possible Geno and the line are holding us back. Maybe not Niners level but upper third in the league

Disagree. Even with those guys, he doesn't have 1/10 the creativity that Shanny does.

I have never believed in this guy.

Even in those games in 2021, he couldn’t close out the games at the end.

He’s not going to get us where we want to get to, and I don’t think he is good enough to game manage us to the owl either.

Basically this for me as well. I've never thought he was the guy. Not even after his best games last year. Great story, but he simply doesn't have IT. Not enough other pieces to cover up a mostly crappy QB...

The bigger problem is personnel... not play calling/scheming.
