First us, then Raiders, now Giants. What a complete bust. I don't know how sooooo many people, including myself, scouts and "experts" could have been so wrong about him. What did everyone miss? Was everyone just enamored by combine results or something?

Silver lining, at least we didn't draft Sanchez.

Aaron Curry was a bigger, faster John Lotulelei. Remember how a lot of people were slobbering over Lotulelei like idiots a few weeks ago before even seeing him in a preseason game? Whatever it was that infected those fans infected the Curry hype train. LBs with awesome measurables who play like missiles tend to get people excited, and in the case of Curry it led to a lot of silly overprojecting as a pass rusher (he got LT comparisons after having 8 sacks in 4 colllege seasons. I wish I was joking).

I haven't fallowed him in years. I watched the Giants play someone a week or 2 ago and he was in. Curry bit so hard rushing the outside, the QB just kept it and rolled out. I just laughed. He's a dummy.

But hey, god has a plan according to him. According to god it must be not learning his assignments.

Just saw that. Just thinking about him retiring and remembering his contract had the most garunteed of any non QB ever when he signed.

Yes and B/R headlines it as former Seattle Seahawks #4 overall pick. I see it as more of a dig at the Hawks than a story about Curry getting cut. Maybe I'm just to critical of BR.

Why? It's a valid piece of information. He was a draft bust of pathetically epic proportions. A linebacker can't ruin a franchise like a QB bust can, but Curry tried his best...
