I'm excited for Luck to face Wilson in Indianapolis next year.

In only two years of playing, Wilson will be able to say he has beaten:

Romo
Brady
Kaep
Rodgers
RG3
Cutler
Newton
Bradford
Manning (NYG)
Luck
Freeman
Brees
Schaub
Ryan*

Too bad we don't play the Broncos next year
*next year

heres a BIG advantage Kapp has over Wilson, and thats his height advantage, but not for the typical rubbish you hear about being a shorter QB..

its not who Russel can see, but who can see Russel, as in defenders, as in his eyes, as in his possible target..

Kapp made a world class no look pass against the Pikers for 6 that prolly made Joe Montana's head do a 360? not one defender made a move to protect that receiver as Kapp didn't even look at him, thats GREAT field presence and knowing exactly where your receivers and defenders are..

Wilson will struggle with looking off and no look passing as the defenders can't see who he's lookin at most of the time anyways... lol

Russell Wilson becomes the 1st rookie QB in history with 2 fourth-quarter comebacks

Brian Nemhauser ‏@hawkblogger
Only 8 QBs in NFL history have more career 4th qtr comebacks in the playoffs than Russell Wilson's 2. Leader is Joe Montana with 5.

Brian Nemhauser ‏@hawkblogger
Russell Wilson's 385 passing yards were a single game rookie playoff record. And...

Brian Nemhauser ‏@hawkblogger
No rookie QB has ever thrown for more than Wilson's 572 combined passing yards in the playoffs, including some that played 3 games.

Brian Nemhauser ‏@hawkblogger
Russell Wilson's playoff passer rating was an NFL rookie record 102.4 (min 15 pass attempts). Sanchez was 92.7, Big Ben 61.3, Flacco 50.8

Brian Nemhauser ‏@hawkblogger
That is the 19th-best YPA in a single post-season of any playoff QB post-merger (min 2 playoff games played)

Brian Nemhauser ‏@hawkblogger
This was Russell Wilson's 10th game of the year with a passer rating over 100, tying Peyton Manning and Matt Ryan for most in the NFL

Brian Nemhauser ‏@hawkblogger
There were only 3 games in NFL history where a QB threw for 385+ yds and ran for 60+ yds before RW did it today. None were done in playoffs

Some fairly decent play was exhibited today by our rookie.

If we don't count the stupid Hail Mary at the end of the game... his QB Rating is 120+.
People seem to forget, this is his rookie season ...

None.

Go Hawks.

meh, I am going to put Kapp in his wheelhouse, RG if he's healthy but these new QBs run circles round those old goats, Brady played in slow mo all day, it was almost comical... lol

That's a massive insult to Wilson. Kaep is a one read QB, who just happens to have a massive arm with sprinter speed. He is not a QB, but an athlete playing QB. If he was on Wilson's level he at least makes a semblance of a comeback against us in the Clink, but no, he can't even score a TD till massive garbage time. Kaep is way overrated.

I was talking to my Dad after the game...
He called to snap about Pete trying to freeze the kicker...
I told him win or lose, It's nice knowing we have found a QB...
Not some old has been...
Not some average 8 wins a season guy...
But what appears to be a true talent...
It's magical...
What a great season.
Go Hawks!

Lets break this down by age.. I think that's a lot more fair - because the Brady's and Manning's obviously have their pedigree, but their careers are done in 2-3 years at the most.

So.. I'm thinking QB's under 30.

Aaron Rodgers (29)
Robert Griffin III (22)
Matt Ryan (27)
Joe Flacco (28)
Andy Dalton (25)
Cam Newton (23)
Sam Bradford (25)
Josh Freeman (25)
Jay Cutler (29)
Christian Ponder (24)
Matthew Stafford (24)
Nick Foles (23)
Blaine Gabbert (23)
Andrew Luck (23)
Ryan Tannehill (24)
Jake Locker (24)
Brandon Weeden (29)
Chad Henne (27)
Mark Sanchez (26)
Colin Kaepernick (25)

The only one I take over Wilson right now.. is Rodgers honestly. Even with how much I love Luck and RG3. Crazy.

I would ask our QB to shy away from these "no look passes" that so enamour you. Kaep is a great athlete. That's what we know about him thus far. Have you seen RW as rattled as Kaep was in Seattle? It was comical.

Here is a question.

With a nice 20/20 hindsight on the season. Would anyone be mad today if we had taken Wilson in the first round fearing he would have been gone later?

Hell after Wilsons day today I'm starting to think he deserved the #1 overall pick over Luck. No joke. Luck and him are on par for most of their skills, except Wilson has (seems like it) better decision, making, more shifty, better wheels, and has that unteachable clutch gene with the work ethic.

Yes... but part of you still thinks Josh Portis is better... admit it man.

Well I mean... I wish we still had him! imagine Portis with Wilsons work eth...wait...

That is Russell Wilson! tell me again why I loved Portis so much?
