The Seahawks placed receiver Tory Horton on injured reserve, and also elevated a pair of linebackers from their practice squad ahead of Sunday’s game against the Titans.

Maybe I missed it but I didn’t see a corresponding move adding anyone to the roster to replace Horton.

Neither did I.

I think this will be the last protected elevation for Patrick O'Connell. I would guess they might keep him on the regular roster rather than risk losing him.

Normally we’d expect both ILBs Sheriff and O’Connell to revert by rule to the PS but with injuries now at ILB it’s hard to predict what will happen. I’m not certain that at least one might stay on the 53 or be brought up this week as the injuries at that position group are significant.

Will need to wait and see but it’s clear as observed above the numbers are a player light if both revert.

I'm going to post both PS players ILBs Sheriff and O’Connell reverting by rule to the PS. I expect that perhaps O'Connell will be activated to the 53 with the new injury to ILB Chaz Surratt and the injuries to Jones and Knight.
