The information on the roster cutdown is very slow this year.

i suppose it is possible there could be something in the wings that is bubbling away, holding up announcements.

I'm going to move the PUP players and the Suspended player from the 53 man roster leaving 11 players who's fate is still not announced.

WR- Eskridge move to the Supended list for the first six games

DT- Mone remains on PUP and won't return for at least four games

DT- Faoliu remains on PUP and won't return for at least four games

Updated.

Noon tomorrow is when the claiming period for waived players ends.

Teams can start assembling their Practice Squads at 1 p.m. tomorrow.

There are a good number of players many of us hope clear waivers and can be kept on the PS.

To me it seems a bit unusual that there have been no trades as yet from JS or claims of players from other teams.

I don't think JS is done yet.

Is JS ever done with roster churn?

Kyu Blu Kelly CB Stanford | NFL Draft Profile & Scouting Report

"

Scouting Report: Strengths

  • Good strength to tackle. Plays with high energy and is a tough-minded overachiever.
  • Stays low in his backpedal and shows the click-and-close ability to break up plays in front of him. Kelly can move well laterally and shows excellent instincts when looking into the backfield in zone coverage.
  • He’s a willing and capable hitter in run support and closes fast to make plays against quick screens.
  • He’s a technician in press coverage, with a strong punch and the ability to reroute receivers.
  • Can get up under a receiver’s chin and has the speed to flip his hips and run downfield. He has the quick and surprisingly powerful hands to jostle receivers early. But he’s at his best peeking into the backfield.
  • He has the straight-line speed to recover. His ball skills are tremendous, with good hands and the potential to take it to the house any time Kelly gets his hands on the ball.
  • His ball skills are very good. Kelly tracks the ball well downfield and has the hands and coordination to come away with interceptions even when he isn’t targeted often.'

Drake Thomas LB NC State

"Scouting Report: Strengths

  • Trusts his eyes and shows no hesitation with good anticipation to avoid blockers.
  • Thomas has an excellent feel for working off blockers and knowing how and when to counter as the play goes on.
  • Quick to read run, showing good agility and speed to get past blockers and finish. Experienced in coverage and gets a strong jam on outside receivers.
  • He can move laterally and chase in pursuit. A tough, violent tackler with a non-stop motor, Thomas also shows good awareness when dropping into coverage.
  • He’s an instinctive and active chase-and-tackle 4-3 Will, with the speed to go sideline to sideline. He takes excellent angles. He also has an innate sense for shooting gaps as a run defender.
  • Thomas can be used as a rangy run defender inside, instinctive when it comes to locating the ball with the quickness to get to it before blockers can react at the second level."

Thanks Jville!!!

At present I will show these two waiver wire players added to the 53 but there will need to be at least one more corresponding moves to compensate.

I will hold off on announcing the PS additions as they still are speculative though more than likely accurate. (EDIT: now announced.)

Thanks CactusJack!!!

As indicated above I will wait until these PS signing are less tentative before posting on the OP.

I am editing an earlier post to include each of these apparent PS signings for ease of updating later.
