Worked out today:
RB Bernard Pierce
FB Tommy Bohanon
DB Chimdi Chekwa
RB Kenny Hilliard
WR Jamel Johnson
LB Randell Johnson
LB Rufus Johnson (Twitter link via Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle)
FB Darrel Young (Twitter link via Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune)

Bernard Pierce? Could be interesting.

Thanks for that, Graham, like always the sifting through the castoff pile looking for the diamonds continues as JS continues his incremental and non-stop attempts to improve the team.

I could see one or more of those names making the PS for an extended look where eligible.

Pierce is interesting, so is Bohanon, I need to look harder at the others.

You can create a sharable spread sheet with google sheets that people can click on to view.
You as the boss, will have the power to let people edit, or just view.

I created a mock draft out of one that worked quite well.

Thanks for the suggestion but that would be more work than I am prepared to take on presently, feel free if you wish with my blessing.

If adding Zac Brooks back to the PS and now signing CJ Spiller to the Team doesn't light a blaze of competitive fire under CJ Prosise I can't believe anything will.

Perhaps he needs a redshirt season on IR before facing a final chance to earn his spot on the team? Maybe he's been unlucky but he seems to be a malingerer so far.

With a return to healthy on all in the RB room there is now some potentially exceptional depth at RB on the roster.

Thanks Kitsap!

Looking at his draft profile he ran 4.90 and 4.95 at the Georgia pro day, good long arms and tough against the run. interesting developmental prospect.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300000 ... te-workout

Defensive end Sterling Bailey -- 6-3 7/8, 281 -- ran the 40 in 4.9 and 4.95 seconds. He had a 30 1/2-inch vertical and 9-foot-8 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.58 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.39 seconds. He worked out good as a defensive lineman.

It's interesting that the team has been churning the PS less than the last few seasons. Asd well there was a period where the team went almost a week with an open 53 man roster slot. Perhaps JS is waiting on some situations?

Defensive end out of Clarion. Jets initially listed him as an OLB and later converted him to full back. >>>> [urltargetblank]http://jetswire.usatoday.com/2016/09/04/julian-howsare-makes-the-cut-as-jets-fullback/[/urltargetblank]

Thanks Kitsap.

Hill always was suffering from some injury, was injured, or on the injury report. He showed some genuine potential though at times with 5.5 sacks and a key INT in 2014, but was only available 27 of 48 regular season games and 2 of 8 playoff games due to injuries. His production had suffered recently b/c of injuries.

He was due to become an unlimited FA this up coming season and would not likely have been re-upped except on a very team friendly basis.

Given the potential of the younger players and their ability to stay healthy I'd be surprised to see him return, unless the DLine suffers a rash of injuries.

Updated.
