It sounded like our head coach voted for the status quo, keeping Geno and DK, that is bad news for the diehard geNOs.
That is bad for those hoping for a return to greatness before 2030. We need a true #1 QB, 22 to 25 years of age. In 2030, Geno will be gone, DK will be out of the league, for what? A simple playoff berth?

Schneider shines as a GM in moments like this. A DK trade would have to garner a first and a young WR and stud guard/center in return

People are saying the same here about DK and still think hes worth a rd1.
He is worth a one and more compensation in players like a good young wideout minimum. He’s hard to replace . He produces elite numbers on a yearly basis , stretches the field like Jefferson. He’s a highly valuable asset. Deebo stinks like shit so comparing the two situations isn’t really a fair argument

The guy who should be traded is K9. We could use another 2 or 3 round pick, and there is a ton of rb talent in this draft to replace him with.

I’m a huge Geno fan. History says you don’t sign guys to a third contract at this stage but if you’re rolling with Geno and not a young guy it seems like you’re sending mixed signals. At this point I think both stay but who knows
I'd love it if both stayed.

Said a bunch of times that I would really like to see both under a non-comletely-stupid-sounds-promising-but-then-waldron-sounded-promising-too OC scheme that could make them shine.....

LOL, all the card-carrying geNOs demand the return of your card.

It's the NFL, never say never. While I prefer that he stays, John wouldn't be doing his job if he doesn't listen to offers. I suspect if we knew even 25 percent of the players that a GM takes calls on, people would lose their minds. Talking is not doing, but not listening would be plain dumb.
There's always a price.

If we really want a run-first offense, we need every RB we've got. Remember when we couldn't keep any backs healthy?
