They were down by 3, twice in the first half. Bouncing back and outscoring ANY opponent 31-3 in the second half is pretty damn good. They made adjustments, something we wanted to see. Darnold played a hell of a lot smarter and confident in the 2nd half, something we wanted to see. Having a sloppy first half doesn't take away my enjoyment of the win.Yes, @SoulfishHawk . We won by 4 TDs.
The result is awesome.
Nick Emman-WARRIOR is awesome.
This Defense is awesome.
Scoring just 6 points in the entire First Half however, isn't.
No game is perfect, of course.
But I prefer to play from ahead than from behind, you know?
And it was a great peace you said, good sir. They were down by 3, twice in the first half. Bouncing back and outscoring ANY opponent 31-3 in the second half is pretty damn good. All in how you look at it, and that's cool.
Anyway, been down this road after just about every win. Not worth it.
I've said my peace. Go Hawks
When coaches and players look at what they did wrong and study that is absolutely how to get better, film is amazing, however when fans look at the mistakes and what the team did wrong it rarely helps the players improve. I’ve tried yelling at the TV, posting convoluted rants on Seahawks.net, I’ve tried being superstitious, I’ve even wrote out a game plan and some formations and stuff but the team never listens to me… do you know who the hell I am!! EKLooking for things they did wrong, or could do better, is how good teams get better. Griping about someone griping is just more griping.
Ron Fairley told us.But how do we really know this win is a win...
Clearly - you have been going about this all wrong. When coaches and players look at what they did wrong and study that is absolutely how to get better, film is amazing, however when fans look at the mistakes and what the team did wrong it rarely helps the players improve. Did you have Gun Trips Right X Post Z Shallow Y Wheel 58 on your play sheet? When coaches and players look at what they did wrong and study that is absolutely how to get better, film is amazing, however when fans look at the mistakes and what the team did wrong it rarely helps the players improve. Perspective maybe?I think we can all agree that it must be a good season when we argue about the quality of the win, and whether the Seahawks won early enough or by a big enough margin.
DamnClearly - you have been going about this all wrong.
I blame all losses this year on you.
Oh yeah but I had a lot more under center single back spread with slants to Jake BoboDid you have Gun Trips Right X Post Z Shallow Y Wheel 58 on your play sheet?
Hell yes .Oh yeah but I had a lot more under center single back spread with slants to Jake Bobo

Your conclusion is......POPCORN?You can correct me if I'm wrong...
...but those wanting to analyze the weak 1st half against Atlanta (or 2nd halves against the others) are doing so because they seek some kind of assurance that this team can beat the Rams (or the like). They're searching for hope, rather than just letting the game come and play out. These fans come here arguing that our performance is not enough to beat the Rams, the Niners, or other 10-3 teams.
Certainly the 1st half wasn't some great offensive performance like we saw against previous teams.
But neither did the Hawks let the game get out of hand.
Did you all know that the Rams lost a game they "should have won" against Carolina? Doesn't that mean they cannot beat a team like us?
The logic of some posters here gets so entangled with emotion that it's difficult to have reasonable and yet fan-based discussion.
And those just happy with the win? The entertainment value (especially of the win) overshadows their desire to discuss ways the Hawks can improve.
So, my conclusion?

We are impatient. And one week we will say the offense is elite and the next criticize it for - well you get the pictureUm....they destroyed Atlanta.
Totally. Atlanta played great defense on the first half. Hawks completely took over after that. This place always cries about something though.Um, they won by 4 touchdowns. Is it EVER good enough? They haven't given up a single touchdown the last 2 weeks![]()
