We simply cannot count on rookie QB's looking like a deer in the headlights, and 4 or > turnovers a game to win either down the stretch or in the playoffs.

Our D are madmen. Given - but we also have some depth issues - knock out a couple of guys and have our offense sputter, and we've got a problem in the next few weeks, let alone the playoffs.

In my opinion, MM needs to firmly kick KK in the nuts and tell him to get far more responsive to game situations and get more creative.

Charbs on a bunch of inside runs over and over. Lack of scheme to get JSN the ball. Absolutely NO screen game against high pressure Defenses. These things worry me. And it's not just a one game problem.

Just sayin'. I will ABSOLUTELY take the win. But we should have CURB STOMPED the Titans. And we should have hung a 50 burger on the Vikes.

Flame me if you'd like. But we have a bunch to fix on O - and in particular with the OC.

I dont disagree but i will add... our rightside oline is a huge weakness. They kept attacking from that side and had success when Charbs wasn't in blocking on that side. If they can dial up some screens and quick hitting plays while somehow fixing the right side of the Oline we're good. Otherwise nail biters ahead.

I think MM knew he had their number with his defense. Guessing they'd have taken more risks otherwise than settled for field goals

You are correct. But it’s calculated risks. Why risk anything when you know you can beat them. It’s all part of the game. Low risk, low reward but low reward wins you a game with no opposing qb. So it’s just how they draw it up.

I think this is exactly the game MM wanted. We tried to throw early and it didn't work. The short quick passing game is not Sam's strength. Kubiak IMO is calling the game Sam excels at. Today, it didn't work. And when it was obvious Minny was determined to take away what we do best through the air, not matter what, MM took it personally and ran it down their throats.

This was the game plan we SHOULD have had against the Rams. We should never have kept throwing against a defense who, like Minnesota, is capable of taking away our passing strength.

This was a tone setting win, and I am pretty sure MM is happy with it.

Sure they started a rookie, but we held captain MVP in Stafford to season lows as well. We're it not for 2 gimme scores, the Rams QB wouldn't have looked much better than Minny's today.

This is a statement win. Every team in the league knows now that even if you take away JSN, we will still beat the ever loving crap out of you on the ground and with our defense.

No 1 seed is in play and I don't see a game we should t win between now and the end of the season.

I will never complain about a dominating shut out

Not every game is gonna look great. Vikings have a good defense and they know Darnold better than anybody
And... what @keasley45 stated is spot on.

The offense needs to work on:

1) blitz pick up
2) blitz beaters
3) end of half clock management
4) pass pro in general

However, the good thing is that they were able to adjust and lean on the run game (plus an incredible defense) to win this game.

Credit to the Vikes D and Flores for what he dialled up too. Based on how they were playing and how our D was dominating I can see playing to avoid turnovers.

That being said I don't mind Haynes in for Bradford if that was performance and not injury based.

Exactly this. I said before the game that Flores would have our number and he did. They have a good D and Flores is one of the best coordinators in the league. We have a complete team and so enjoy the luxury of pivoting entirely away from one aspect of our offense when a great team decides to take it away.

The vikings defense played very well. Give them props. Certainly between the Rams game and this one, especially with Flores knowing how to attack Darnold, other teams are going to do the same thing. It'll come down to whether they have the personnel to do it, and what Kubiak schemes up to counter it. I am not frustrated by Kubiak, he's still a young OC and he'll learn from these game, and so will Darnold.
