Yeah okay 👍 lol, So your in the huddle, so Grubb calls multiple plays and every single one GENO picks .. is Grubbs fault? lol 😂 nah .. Geno and Grubb go hand in hand or Geno. Grubb .. in college did better with Penix. In preseason he had Sam Howell looking like a number 1, first three weeks Grubb and company had the offense looking smooth. Geno started making mistakes and Genos mistakes got worse and worse and then plays were then adjusted to become more and more vanilla and basic and even Genos screwing those up.
You have zero evidence of this happening. If so provide it please.

I think it’s funny it’s never Geno’s fault but the line, Grubb etc. he had to be a part of the problem.
Coming from the Geno supporter, you are spot on!

Give credit…or criticism…where it’s due. Geno is regressing and it’s not going to get better.

Time to grab that dreaded term..QBotF.

So we're now living in the days of a 1 year prove it or lose it contract? Not how championship teams are built. Some folks need to seriously get a grip.

No this isn’t Grubb the decline offensively is on Geno if you actually pay attention to the games. He has a knack for locking on to covered receivers and ignoring wide open ones. The interceptions in the red zone notably and many that should be intercepted. His time as a gap qb is drawing to an end.

First year at doing all of this. You guys want an Easy button and Mahomes stats, need to get a reality check, luck is involved in one year turn arounds, most times you have to build it.
Bro..I might not be around in 5 years..besides, I'm impatient. I want it all.. right now!

It's Geno's fault!

No, it's Grubb's fault!

No, it's the o line's fault.

Here's an idea: how about placing some blame on our genius GM who is responsible for ALL OF THEM being here?

I'm fine with that. In the hierarchy of blame John is at the top. He's also the reason we have Macdonald

How many OC's do we blame before it is the players that can't get it done. Geno has been a disaster this year, especially in the red zone.

Is it 'blaming' the OCs when the last OC isnt even in the NFL anymore and the current one has the HC having to field questions every week about whether he is happy with the play calling?

The only major mistake John made this year was agreeing to Grubb and Huff. He did what good GMs do and fixed the failed experiment at LB, but OC and O-line coach were a function of having to pick from who was left of the available coaches. I mean, we were rumored to be considering Chip Kelley! Thats how bad it was.

I expect him to correct that failed experiment this offseason as well.

80 days or so until free agency begins.

10 or so days before the new OC search begins. This time i wager we will have the pick of the bunch.
I have a mental list of possible OC's to replace Grubb should any of them be let go from their current teams.

Kevin Stefanski
Mike McDaniel
Brian Daboll
Mike Kafka
Doug Pederson
Jake Peetz
Brian Schottenheimer (just kidding...kinda)

If you had your pick of this bunch, who would you go with? Or do you have someone else in mind? Stefanski & McDaniel are probably safe, but you never know. Daboll is 50/50. Pederson is sure to be fired. Peetz would obviously be an easier transition, considering he's already part of the offense, maybe that doesn't work in his favor though.

I know he isnt going to be the popular pick, but i would love to see Schotty back here and working with Mac.

He was vastly underappreciated as an OC during his time here because of how polarizing the debate was around Russ and why he struggled. But he called some great games that ultimately failed because he needed a qb who was heady in xs and os and manage the game effectively. The dude would be perfect to implement the physical, run based attack that Mac has talked about wanting. I also dont think it hurts that he's been working with Mike Mcarthy now for several years. I think Mcarthy is garbage as a HC but has a great mind for offense.

And i think he will be available and open to coming back unless Pete grabs him in Chicago.

From Mike Mc to Mike Mac... plus he's familiar with the area. Easy transition for him.

In ole toffee's vision, Jake Peetz should have called plays for the past five games. Grubb should have either fired or relieved of play calling duties, again, five games ago. Hey, I advocated for relieving Grubb's play calling duties at that time.

Would Peetz be better in those five games? We will never know, but one thing for sure that we know: WE SURE DIDN'T IMPROVE IN THOSE FIVE GAMES.

For the blame the players gang, the same bunch of players, except JSN, collectively regressed over the last 16 games, think about it.
