Fire the OC 1 week before a potential playoff-deciding Week 18 divisional match-up.

Garbage troll thread.
It worked for Baltimore one year and IIRC they won the Superb Owl that year. It was a little earlier than week 17 though. Cam Cameron or something was the guys name.

Edit: Detailed article on the Cam Cameron late-season firing as Baltimore's OC. The Ravens were 9-4 at that point.

Garbage troll thread.

Certain people make up their mind, dig in their heels, and see what they want to see

Many of us fall into this occasionally. We have a few stuck in it in this thread

This is true. They replaced the OC at 9-4, with 3 games remaining, after losing 2 games with blown 4th quarter leads.

Ravens fired their OC at 9-4 in 2012
It's not about the overall record. That's like saying everything is fine with the Mariners the past 20 years because they won 80 something games.
First year at doing all of this. You guys want an Easy button and Mahomes stats, need to get a reality check, luck is involved in one year turn arounds, most times you have to build it.

1 grubb ain’t getting fire 2 Geno is who calls the selecting the plays when they’re radioed into him. He’s given X amount of plays and is selecting shitty ones and of audibling into worse ones. Geno executes Grubbs offense. Geno ISNT executing shit except waiting for long developing plays, refusing to run.
But I am not surprised that the Geno fanatics and loyalists are in here making a fire Grubb post. Grubb isn’t the issue. Geno is. Geno has been and Geno always will be the issue. The dude understood only so much of the playbook. And Geno is aging, give me a younger QB that clearly knows the playbook and how it should be executed over Geno. Geno was a backup for almost a decade for a reason, and it wasn’t because he was good.

Grubb at UW without Geno and had Penix did fine. Grubb had Sam Howell in preseason looking sharp and smooth. But of course yall will excuses for a QB that’s sat all season as well.

Also if this is some troll thread I’ll just shut it down. Staff is beginning to get tired of seeing duplicate threads pop up because someone wants to go all Lt Dan Special and make a whole new thread so they can be seen. And we’re tired of seeing mislabeled and misleading thread titles.

Offensive Line
Geno Smith
Grubb

That's the order of who/what is the biggest problem of our offense.

College? Preseason? C'mon man. Howell looked like ass in the GB game and Grubb had him throwing 19 consecutive passes. You think Howell audibled out of all those runs? Last night Grubb actually made an attempt to establish the run, then when in 3rd and short he goes empty set.
