It’s becoming more and more difficult to defend Grubb. I wanted Grubb to succeed as being a UW fan as well. It’s apparent, something or a lot of things aren’t helping the offense right now and Grubb will likely be a casualty after this season. I think Schneider also bares responsibility for all the offensive line misses he has overseen. Geno is done, Schneider is done, Grubb is done, and Scott Huff might be done as well.

I think it's the OL. They need someone who can spot talent on both sides of the line. Geno has looked different these last few games, he doesn't look like a starter, but look at the pressure he's had all season. Look we are at what Pete would've gave us this year and I think it can only go up from here.

People who think JS is going to be fired will be disappointed this offseason. Its not happening, nor is it even remotely close to happening. Nor would constantly tearing everything down build a successful team. I think its closer with Grubb but I would guess they give him another year and work on the line but I wouldn't be shocked if he is let go. They do need a new O line coach IMO.

Seahawks offense is performing better this year than last year. Not by much, and Waldron certainly should not be the bar.

We don't know how much the offensive scheme is dictated by the coach and the QB. When the season is over, there will likely be a deep dive into what happened and where they need to be.

I think it's intriguing that most fans hated Bevell, Schottenheimer, Waldron, and now Grubb. All of them had to work with the players they had, which were drafted by JS and PC. So maybe that's the common denominator.

Macdonald doesn't have long-standing ties to Grubb, so it will be easier for him to move on from Grubb. A whole off-season will make it easier to find an OC that is a better fit.

Yes, the O-line has been bad, but I think a good OC works around it. Andy Reid is making it work with make-shift offensive line all season. And now he has a guard playing left tackle.

Given all the weapons on the Seahawks, the output has been appalling. 6 points against the Bears' defense was the last straw.

Every teams fan base hates their OC. Well maybe not Detroit or KC.

It’s a fact that many fans view games from one perspective only. Like there’s no NFL quality D on the other side.

But that being said, Grubb has done less with more than any other Seattle OC. Both Schotty and Bevell would have got more from this offense. And they werent world beaters as coordinators.

Management may look at it as a period of transition and not necessarily attribute the offensive woes to Grubb.

I think MM knows better.

We're also going to have the some(hopefully not all) of the same problems next year if the one variable changed is Grubb and we're going to blame a third coordinator for those same issues.

Grubb is only part of the problem. A competently run football team would also try and fix the line and upgrade at QB. It's a three headed beast.

I think the Seahawks are well run but JS always chooses to neglect the line. As for Geno, it's probably going to be hard to find a better option. If there is one I'm all for it. Not Sam Howell

I voted yes, Grubb will be here next year. Using someone else's car, mechanic, driver analogy, I see Seattle getting better parts for the car before handing the mechanic his pink slip. Seattle has a long history of patience with players and coaches.

John gave the defensive mechanic better parts and a good driver, Jones IV, in season. Lo' and behold, the defensive car got better and the mechanic has it running pretty damned good. John gave the special teams mechanic better parts and the special teams car is running better. The offensive car had several parts fall off completely and John's expecting duct tape to work.

The line has only had the same 5 starters for the last 4 maybe 5 games? Cross and Thomlinson are the only guys who started week 1. Think about that for a minute. Get Grubb some better parts, solidify the line and I think things run better.

How do you figure?

Grubb needs to adopt a better run game and John is going to need to get him more guys that can run routes with precision. JSN can do that and has a monster season on his hands, DK can’t and has been disappointing. If Rome Odunze was the target of that pass against the Vikes, he’d be exactly where he was supposed to be and makes that play. Grubbs game depends on that from my view and just didn’t get that from the WRs not named JSN.

I think he’s still here next season if the team wants to make changes in the WR room to fit his offense better. If not then it probably makes more sense to go a different direction.

Grubb and Huff are gone and I think they go after someone with a fair amount of experience. I don't think Geno is gone as there is no successor and his deal is pretty team friendly for a starting QB. The caveat is whether JS can do something to relieve Minny of their QB quandary.

Minny is going to lose in the playoffs. I thought Seattle looked like the better team and I thought we were gonna win. We lost that game
