We are the ones exploited...
No way. I exploit myself. I don’t have to participate in the silly masquerade. I choose to. Life isn’t a question to be answered it is a reality to be experienced brother.

Edit: in Dune it actually says life isn’t a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced or some such shit. I’m paraphrasing for copyright purposes

I broke down and watched the newer one last night. Read the book about a year ago. For the first time. And I read a sick amount of books - don’t know how it took me 44 1/2 years to read that one. Great book. One of my favorites.

I will say this based on the shots of her taken after a Chiefs play she is a genuine fan of football and Travis. Not her fault she is a magnet for the cameramen.

Womp Womp. Who cares? She is not hurting anything. I dont care to see jerry jones either like they show him regardless of him owning a team. They did this with Jessica Simpson and Romo too. I dont let these things bug me.

Exactly and thank you for admitting that. She dressed like any normal woman not counting she's Travis girlfriend and a billionaire. And was acting like any normal girl.

The first 4 Dune books are incredible and 5 is excellent as long as you understand it's 10,000 years later after the first 4 books.

So it we don't like something we should just not voice our opinion because we are giving it more attention? Come on, how. Negative feedback can influence results.

They showed her so many times during the game. Imagine if you're watching a movie and they kept showing the same thing over and over. You'd eventually be like wtf this is not good movie-making. It's the same thing with the broadcast. Why shouldn't people complain about the broadcast?

Don't make the false assumption that Taylor Swift has nothing to do with the cameramen focusing in on her. If she didn't like it or considered it an invasion of her privacy, she could easily instruct her handlers to pressure the network into keeping their prying eyes away from her. But she knows full well that all that exposure helps enhance her brand and adds to her fortune. She's a willing party to all the attention and exposure they're giving her.

I saw where the total amount of time that Taylor was shown was 55 seconds. That doesn't sound like a lot, but when it's all 3 or 4 second shots, they're flashing her in front us quite often. If it wasn't for her overuse of make-up, particularly that firehouse red lipstick, I wouldn't be that put off by her as they have a ton of stupid distractions, including those hideous commercials. I just roll my eyes and chuckle thinking of all the people who actually like seeing her that often.

I laugh and chuckle at the people who can’t not look at her so they can complain about it. At least it is something tangible to be upset about - all that existential angst can be bottled up and directed at something that can be “sensed”

Well now I’ll have to get the other three so thanks for putting my academic pursuits of simulacra and simulation on pause.

Of all the complaints I've seen about Taylor at the games, the silliest and most frequent is the lipstick. She's wearing Chiefs colors, ya know?

Do we think we'll hit 25 pages, or will the fervor die down since the season is over?
