True but considering they have 5 picks so far in the first 83 I suspect that the team will get a good number of quality players add3d to this roster. This is going to be an interesting draft and if they nail it like last year this year’s team will be pretty talented.

In short I doubt they get very many “cutters”.

So far there is a genuine sense from me that they are doing a great job in FA. Hopefully there will be more talent added in FA at ILB.

I always like Woods but after last year I've been expecting to read this news. Adds a few more bucks to our cap space?
From over the cap .......................

........................... so Wood's release increases cap space by $3,670,000.

Thank you gentlemen!!!

Updated.

This roster move is a big surprise.

There seems still to be something happening roster wise that we don't know yet..

Worth checking into: The NFLPA has a salary cap report that is updated daily.

It is worth nothing that a few teams are showing negative cap space, which is not allowed. the 'official' cap ledger is kept by the league and they will never let us see that.

I’ve now read one Tweet report and now seen on TV that the team has re-signed Bobby Wagner. Wow!!!

What an incredible offseason and the draft is still to come.

Updated.

Wow ..... didn't want to hear this. I would think Ryan will bolt/sign with another team.

Thanks Jville!!!

The cap shortage has the team struggling a bit.

This is surprising news, as I thought Neal was a keeper.

This creates a thinning of defensive talent and puts one of the safeties in the draft in play to be drafted.

Updated.

Wonder if this portends the return of NT- Al woods or a re-signing of Poona Ford?

Thanks Jville!!!

Thompson appears to be a survivor who just seems to hang around. His play consistently keeps him on the cusp of being on the main roster despite many challengers.

Updated.

Also Quinton Jefferson signed with the NY Jets a few days ago.

Have yet to see contract numbers for Muse or Jefferson.

OTC has posted the Ryan Neal Bucaneer contract numbers ........

Mike Jackson, Myles Adams and Jon Rhattigan were all exclusive rights free agents earlier tendered by Seattle, and now those three have signed their tenders and the contracts officially have ben filed with the league.
