Man, I would not want to be in JS and PC shoes. Pass on the guy that many thought was the #1 prospect in this years draft not long ago at a position of need and watch him become the next Aaron Donald or take him at #5 and have him never pan out. I go back and forth on whether I think the Hawks should draft him multiple times in the same day. I have to remind myself sometimes that the dude is 21 years old. I think back to when I was 21 and just thank god that I wasn't under the microscope that these guys are under. Saying that, hard to believe the guy couldn't keep his shit together for a couple months before the draft and insure himself a comfortable existence for the rest of his life but again...he is 21...I have a feeling that the Hawks are going to draft him at #5 with the idea that he can turn around this blip in the radar and become someone that other teams have to game plan around that makes the rest of the defense better.

Not sure why you dislike Wilson? He might not be as good as Anderson. But he's going to be a really good pro.
NO, he's not going to be just "a Really Good Pro, no, no, He's going to be an astounding player wherever he winds up going....Too many folks HERE are writing him off as an also ran... DO YOUR DAMNED RESEARCH!!!

I still like Kancey , probably not at 5 , I do agree that T Wilson has tremendous upside and could be brought up the right way . He'll get good about 4 years in and then sign with another team.

Hahaha 😂. Sorry , had a rough day

Pete and John love high end talent and always think can coach guys up. How many 1st round bust have we brought in? How many super talented guys have we traded for? I have a feeling they still pull the trigger on Carter if he's there at 5 and Anderson is gone.

One of the best things that JS and PC do is to hide their intentions at draft time. They didn't attend Carter's pro day. I would say that is more of an indicator of their interest than their disinterest. DT is this team's biggest need, and Carter is the best in the draft. I have been hopeful ever since Chicago traded their pick.

I'm coming back around on us drafting him. Sorry if this video was posted already, but man...he's legit.

His natural physical talent is mind blowing. The strength and explosiveness is unreal and he has better body control/weight shifting ability than a 1st round LB prospect who is 70lbs lighter? Are you kidding me?

And gassed after 3 plays. Knew he was in poor shape in college and did nothing about it.

You're right, but the DT position is like an offensive lineman, it's a thankless job full of selflessness, double teams and dudes who you have to KNOW love the game and will put in the work to be great.

So all the talent in the world doesn't equate to excellence in the NFL, again especially true at the DT position. Dudes have to REALLY want it, and love the game to excel at DT.

That's why IMO Carter is a red flag and we can't chance wasting a once every 20 year opportunity at #5 on him........and I think Pete and John agree.

Jalen Carter will ruin this draft's coverage. The mediots will be droning on and on about his tumble in this draft. Instead of talking about the prospects that are actually worth drafting.

I hope he does go in the top 10, so I don't have to hear about him the rest of the night. But I still think he isn't going day 1.

Even if he does go in the top 10, I think the mediots will still clamor about how he wasn't chosen top 5 and go on and on about how he was the top defensive player on the board. Hopefully not all night long, but still long enough to make us all roll our eyes.

Snap counts, especially 4th quarters snap counts, and late season snap counts. Carter's snap counts and his potential of being less effective due to stamina worries me. His inability to motivate himself for his pro-day ought to be worrisome to all suitors.
