He's washed up and has lost his Mojo. Too short and has to bail out early from the pocket to survey the field, impossible for O-Lineman to pass protect with a QB like this. It's only going to get worse fellas. Strap in and enjoy the ride into .500 football from here on out.

Someone should've told him that it's 2 min before the end of the half or the 4th qtr when the defense is playing prevent. He would've actually looked like a professional QB.

This is why we can’t have nice things.

Does anyone have any data to support the fact that Wilson gets most of his production against prevent defenses?

Also his career passer ratings are 90+ in every quarter and he actually was rated higher in the first half than the second half of games just last year. The stark first to fourth quarter discrepancy was new this year.

He needed 19 for the nfc to have a hope of a win so he went for the big point targets right away.

Schotty is going to have to clean the Bevell off of him with a fire hose.

What? He needed a minimum of 19 and that's if Smith hit no targets after him if he didn't get basically every target the NFC would lose so no point in not trying to get the big ones done first.

A big problem was no running game to support him so defenses could dictate how they played him and they played him well. Hawks were competitive against the Rams in LA and the Eagles due to defensive turnovers. Without a running game there is not much to look forward to with this offense. I guess there are fans who enjoy having his 34 TDs on their fantasy teams but the Hawks were not competitive. If they had snuck into the playoffs by beating the Cards they would have been blown out. Look at December. This team was not getting better as PC was hoping/expecting so the house cleaning was predictable. There is no doubt that when the pressure comes off RW is when he shines and therefore he was performing well in the 4th quarters except for those few times defensive coordinators decided to keep the pressure on him.

But when he had no defensive pressure at all in this stupid passing competition he was the worst passer out there. Perhaps he hadn't picked up a ball in several weeks. And as someone else suggested maybe his receivers need more of the credit for his completions than they are getting. Don't tell me it should take 3 seasons for a NFL QB to figure out how to throw an end zone pass to a 6'-7" receiver.

Bottom line: Hawks better get a running game really soon.

Did you all forget what he did in the second half of 2015 with semi decent pass protection and no running game to speak of? Our biggest issues is we are so wedded to the ground and pound game when we already have an all pro level qb. Instead of maximizing him we have to win Pete's way which pretty much always leads to tight close games when if we play called like we did against Houston we would blow the doors off 80% or more of the league.

No running game to speak of? From week 10 on, there was only one game in which the RB's didn't rush for 100 yards or more. Heck Christine Michael even had a 100 yard game and we wont bring up the game Rawls went for over 200. There was plenty of running game during that stretch.

Did anyone of you even watch the Precision Passing Event?

Carr hit the 5 pointer, which is supposed to be the hardest one, at his first attempt. Russell tried it multiple times and couldn't quite make it but his throws weren't off by a lot. The sample size here is small and who here is sure that Carr would still be superior with a much higher sample size?

Besides that, he needed to go for the big points to have a chance to win, as randomation pointed out.

Wait a minute how did Derek Carr get to the probowl, he's been awful?

Same way RW got there.

Russ played like it was still December but his fans can't blame the OL.

I don’t know what this even means, but no Wilson was one of the original 3 NFC QBs that made it. Carr was like the third alternate. Also, AFC QBs were pretty trash this year outside of Brady, Ben, and Alex Smith.

Probably why he’s getting a new QB coach. Hopefully Brian can help him improve his accuracy. Having a bigger set of plays to work with than just go routes would help there.

I saw Russ at the park today throwing frisbees to his dog and his accuracy was noticeably off. The dog was running crisp routes all day and the frisbees just weren't catchable. I think we're gonna have to cut him, he's done.
