My prediction could wind up being 2 & 2, but I don't think so...Seahawks 24, Airplanes 17.
Predictions to date, 2 & 1

The Jets have nothing behind their D line, they can't cover tight ends, or backs.
Decker isn't going to play, Marshall has a bad knee, as does Forte.
Fitz is erratic at best, this defense should hit him hard, and often.
If the Hawks can score points in the first half... They win.
I watched the Jets/KC game last night, and can't figure out why everyone is seeing a loss here?
Other than the east coast thing, we beat them going away.

Hawks - 31

Jets - 10

2 - 1

So many things working for and against the Hawks it's tough to get a handle on this game:

Against:
- a hobbled Russ
- an o-line that matches up poorly with their good d-line making it even more difficult for RW
- 10:00 AM game on the east coast

For:
- Jets back 7 on D isn't very good
- Their O isn't likely to do much vs. our D
- Decker out, Marshall hobbled

If Russ were healthy I'd likely take the Hawks. He's not. If the D were creating turnovers regularly, I'd likely take the Hawks. They're not.

Jets 13
Hawks 10

To date: 1-2

The Jets O is pretty nicked up and our D is somewhat PO'd about their late breakdown and allowing the 49ers points at the end of the game. I'd expect the D to be pretty amped and they will inflict some pain on the Jets.

We will more of Wilson, Graham, Baldwin, and Michael than we will see of the Jets O and the team will score on the Jets

31-6 Seahawks over the Jets and Russell sits for most of the 2nd half.

Assuming Ifedi plays....27-16 Seahawks...

Ifedi not playing....Seahawks 17-16.....

Too many ways for Seattle to slow down the Jets.

NYCoug, Aros, would like to meet up prior to game, will be in Section 235 looking for a huge Hawks win 40 minutes from home....!!

I'm still trying to gather that info...PM me for my cell info...Text me sometime this weekend before the game and I will let you know where we are meeting up... I will be in section 206A, Row 4, seats 11 and 12. I had no idea that that was the home side until AFTER I purchased! I was thinking I was on the away side. Oh well...lol

I see a win here, and a comfortable win at that. I just don't see how we lose to the Jets. I believe in the Pete Carroll regime we're 3-0 at New York, and I see that improving to 4-0 this Sunday.

Well, I waited until I saw the practice reports. I was going to wait another day, but I think we're good on our end. Wilson is going to play, and was a full participant in practice, and looked to be fine from the video clips I saw.

Meanwhile, Decker and about 3 other Jets DNP at all today. This tells me that if they get on the field, they're going to be limited and not 100%. I honestly don't think Revis could cover Baldwin at 100% after what I've seen this year, and even a slightly hobbled Revis is going to be victimized by Baldwin's quickness. The Jets also don't play vs. TE's very well. Graham is going to be a mismatch vs. those Jets LBers. (I think he'll play).

What this means to me is that the quick passing game will work. If we can't establish the run, I think we can establish a quick passing game and wear the Jets down. We'll be able to run in the 2nd half. On defense, with Decker out, I don't see them scoring much on them. We'll shut down the run and hopefully get some turnovers.

Seattle 17
Jets 9

If we get 2 or more turn overs, this could be worse. I just don't see how they are going to score if they can't run on us.

RTD 2-1
