Your Biggest NFL Disappointments So Far

Slow midweek time. I'll throw a few out there. Join the list if you want...

--Joe Burrow knocked out again

Pretty much knocked the Bengals out of the discussion for the year right off the bat

--Jordan Love

The Packers aspirations lie with this guy and he's still not measuring up in spite of his talent

--The Ravens

Most everyone's SB darlings this year sitting at 5-5

Again, add to the list if you want...

That we've had to wait until this coming weekend for the world to see that Shadeur Sanders is complete ass and should have went undrafted. All the yammering about him being an NFL talent and that Cleveland should be starting him could have been put to bed week 1.

Patrick Mahomes showing that he is mortal after all.

JJ McCarthy not ready to take off his training wheels.

No, Micah Parsons did not make the Packers unbeatable.

Michael Penix, Jr. getting hurt and also showing that maybe he's not the answer.

DK Metcalf 37 catches for $132 million.

Who would have predicted the success/failure of the 2024 first round QBs:

1. Caleb Williams, Bears 7-3
2. Jayden Daniels, Commanders 3-8
3. Drake Maye, Patriots 9-2
8. Michael Penix, Jr., Falcons 3-7
10. JJ McCarthy, Vikings 4-6
12. Bo Nix, Broncos 9-2

I know wins are not a QB statistic, but still surprised at some of these results. Also, Daniels not responsible for the Commanders' problems this year, and Nix not the main reason Broncos are so good. But still surprising that the Bears, Patriots, Broncos and the Commanders (last year) turned things around so quickly. In each case, I give the coach more credit than the QB.

DK Metcalf 37 catches for $132 million. LOL! I LOVE to see the Stealers suck at anything. THey keep trying to recreate the good teams they had with an elite receiver as opposed to drafting well and signing good free agent deals.

Metcalf is still on schedule to finish with 62 catches for 935 yards, both respectable numbers, but hardly elite WR numbers. Right now, DK ranks 48th in the league in receptions. George Pickens, the WR that they traded away already has more than 900 yards receiving.

JSN: 72 catches for 1146 yards
Pickens: 58 catches for 908 yards
DK: 37 catches for 551 yards

If you're a Steelers fan, these numbers will make you sick.

Panthers/Young to a lesser degree, as well.

JSN being there when we picked and PCJS pulling the trigger still gives me wood.

Commanders came in with a lot of hype this year. Actually looks like the longterm plan at qb will likely be finding another one if Daniels continues to get hurt.

Even when DK was here, I always believed once he started lossing that speed he was going to be done because his route running is average, and his awareness in space is average he is a WR that won't age well, and have success after 30yrs old..

The Bills. In a year where the AFC/NFL is wide open and they can't seem to take advantage. Going to waste Josh Allens prime
They missed out by not beating the Chiefs before Allen was the highest paid player. Now their hands are tied
