It was blocked….Jason Myers missed another extra point fg....I believe he's in regular season form.
I agree. He has some nice size, smooth stride. I was thinking, "I wonder what he would look like with the 1's?"Jacardia Wright, idk where this kid came from but idk I liked him. Looked more natural and comfortable than Martinez
I thought they played decent. Morris showed up and the Q1 unit had several decent pressures against the Raiders 1's. I'm not worried there. One thing that DID NOT IMPRESS was the Hawks pass rush. They got adequate pressure until later in the game but then it was not that impressive as the backups are not ready for prime time. Nice to see Tyreke Smith trying to earn his way to being on the 53 man roster, he played well unlike others.
Ouzts beat max crosbyI wasn't paying attention to who was in for the Raiders other than Geno, but according to Gregg Bell, that was the Raider starting DT that Zabel was beating
I guess it just shows either my lack of maturity , wisdom, or Zen level. If I apply myself, I believe I can be a completely different person by next Friday.Getting worked up over 9th and 10th stringers....waste of energy

That's the spirit!!!Jason Myers missed another extra point fg....I believe he's in regular season form.
It was blocked and wasn’t his fault as the defender came right up the middle virtually untouchedJason Myers missed another extra point fg....I believe he's in regular season form.
Put that point on the board and see what the difference is. Then put whoever let that guy come through untouched in a tub so cold he forever gets the shivers just thinking about it.It was blocked and wasn’t his fault as the defender came right up the middle virtually untouched
That Saubert catch was amazing. Wasn't that from Milroe? I don't think very many folks recognize what a fantastic catch that was.Christian Haynes played LG, but he looked good. Lots of downfield blocking. He's more mobile than I realized.
I might be in the minority but I thought Gray Zabel played average his 1st game. There's plays he's thrown back or looking a little lost and missing 2nd level blocks. He's got the talent and there was plays he stonewalled the opposing dt, too, but for a position that almost demands near perfection the entire game I think the lack of experience might show throughout his rookie season (which is common of most linemen their 1st year).
Nehemia Pritchett had himself a game. His 1 int was a mostly due from a great play call but he played it well. Also had a couple PBUs and seemed in control against his receiver.
Jacardia Wright played well. Looked natural. Runs downhill with decent mobility for 220lbs. Give him more carries over Martinez.
Jared Ivey and Tyreke Smith were guys on the Dline the 2nd half that stood out the most on defense.
The 2nd half defense lacks playmakers. Only a few stood out. It's mostly bottom of the roster guys playing the 2nd half so not sure how much it matters but it wasn't that exciting.
Eric Saubert's play givess me a lot more confidence in the TE room. He'll be a steady veteran and good #3. Can block and showed some hands on a tough catch.
Brady Russell gets a lot of discussion, but I just don't see it.
Tory Horton showing his PR abilty was nice to see. He could be a contributer there. His one he returned he picked up some difficult return yards in a crowed field with some nice jukes and a spin move. He's showing a drive to pick up extra yardage every time he touches the ball.
ex-seahawks jamal adams deserves a call out. I didn't think he had it left in him. He looked like old jamal playing a new position. Still has great blitz and run defense to his game.

Cheers, I raise my Manhatten at your direction.
IMO Wright runs like Sean Alexander. I was very impressed with his focus, his vision and his cut.Jacardia Wright, idk where this kid came from but idk I liked him. Looked more natural and comfortable than Martinez
Ouzts/Otzi the Iceman!Since he hasn't been mentioned yet Ouzts. Sticking with that same position, one play that was disappointing was the hold by Russell that took away a long run. Looked to me like awful technique on a play where he really didn't need to hold.
