It was enough time, sadly. However, it's hard to stop on a dime or change direction when you're sprinting full speed to tackle someone. Had shades of Lockette to it though, I liked that

He called it. Clear in the replay. It was another ST screw up. We can't seem to avoid them this year...

The league does have a legitimate problem, they need to clarify that the fair catch motion needs to be more deliberate

Otherwise, more players are going to get cracked
