Ever since I heard the name even, before I knew a thing, it just sounded right, don't ask why, but it may be a great pick for some team anyway.

His TD to INT ratio is scary godlike. I think over 50 TDs and under 10 INTs in 2 years?!?

Day three flyer given he’s already 25, coming off a late season ACL, and didn’t play in a pro style offense.

I don't know. His stats are amazing, but when you watch the tape, he stands there like a statue throwing with flat feet with no pocket awareness or ability to manipulate the pocket. Everything else is great, and maybe that could be learned, but I would worry he would be a sitting duck for nfl defenses, especially with his injury. Hmmm...tough call, although if he's still there on day three? Sure, why not. That's a no brainer.

He'd definitely need a couple of years on the bench.

He's never had to make many post-snap reads. That offense seems to dictate where the ball is going almost always, pre-snap.

But there's a lot to like, for sure.

I have a feeling he'll be a Seahawk. Probably make a day two reach after grabbing the gnarliest defenders possible in round 1. Sit him behind Geno on a 2 year deal or something, We might have the next Rusell Wilson type value QB.

Tell me it doesn't sound like a JS move?

Seems to me just the kind of thing our front office has always done with varying degrees of success; looked for provably skilled guys that other teams are overlooking for some reason.

I have no problem with a Day 2/3 flyer on a QBOTF, assuming we hang onto Geno. A lot rides on that.

He's too old to sit for a couple years though.
Too old? QBs often have success later in their career as compared to other positions. They also come into their prime later than other positions. Hooker may not work out in the NFL, but it won't be because he is too old to take a couple of years to develop and learn.

Like all things, it depends on where he's available in the draft. I wouldn't take him in round one or the top half of round two, but past that, he's worth a shot. He's a good leader that has somewhat correctable issues.

And age doesn't matter; he's only a year older than Russ when we drafted him. So this is not a Brandon Weeden situation.

Pass on the first two days and three rounds of the draft for me. Day three is for this kind of stuff. Taking shots on guys like this that have some unique characteristics as players.

Probably the most undervalued QB in the draft. Possibly an injury from being a first rounder. I'm betting whoever gets this kid will end up with a competitive starter and probably only need a year on the bench.

Given how many teams need QB's, I will be shocked if he makes it past the 2nd round. Won't surprise me if he goes in the 1st. Dude has skills.
