Hey, you! Yeah, you!

Remember the thing that John Schneider has always openly admitted to being a huge consideration of his in evaluating quarterbacks?

Hand size? Hand size. Hendon's measured a whopping 10.5 inches at the Senior Bowl. This'd be tied for the sixth highest measurement at the spot ever, according to mockdraftable.

Russell Wilson's were 10.25.

I'd take Hendon Hooker with our third pick (first in the 2nd round) and never look back. This kid has it.

The knee will rehab fine and who cares if he's 25 and sits a year or two. Tom Brady played till he was almost freaking 50.

I have come back around to Hendon Hooker. I have him as my #3 ranked QB in the draft. If he is there at #20 then I would love the Seahawks to draft him.

Hendon can quickly go through his progressions (quick mind), he has good accuracy with his throws, he seems to love football, good athlete, and good team guy.

I would be fine with Hooker. I think he will surprise a lot of people in the nfl. It's like he fell in a black hole after his injury. I kind of think of him as a slightly less athletic but much more accurate and polished version of Richardson, which makes sense since he's 4 years older than Richardson. Richardson has the ceiling to be better than Hooker. But maybe not. Can't wait for the draft to see what JS thinks!

As an aside, you know who else has huge hands? Levis, at 10 5/8". That's bigger than Hooker's. Who knew? Just for grins, I looked up hand sizes among the top 5 qb's. Here they are:

1. Levis 10 5/8"
2. Richardson 10.5
3. Hooker 10.5
4. Stroud 10
5. Young 9.75

Interesting.

Bigger hand than Russ?

Mark Rodgers will be calling Schneider and complain about scouting Hooker, team3 online media will bytch about Schneider and Pete for disloyal.
