I assumed he's been out of the league for like 5 years. Last time he suited up was 2021...so that aligned.

Has he been trying to play since then and just decided...maybe I should retire?

Good lunch pailer, intersting timing, wish him the best.

Not knocking him for it but I do find it a bit curious that someone who was a little more ā€œforgettableā€ as a Seahawk would feel the need to retire as a hawk

I see ZERO problems with a guy that the Hawks drafted retiring as a Hawk as long as they actually were a team player.

I certainly understand a guy wanting to retire with the team that drafted him.
This particular dude didn’t leave any baggage or drama behind.

No I don’t see a problem with it either! I was just saying I find it a little unusual. If I’m being honest that was just my first thought. If someone told me Cassius march of all players had a one day contract to retire as a hawk my instinct would be ā€œreally?ā€

I get it.

My first thought was ā€œwe drafted himā€, and that is why I’m good it.

I actually like the allegiance it shows.

It’s the reason my response to the RW question is, yes if he requests it.
No if we have to chase him down over it.
