I disagree about your timeline. This team should have been a dumpster fire but made the playoffs. If they handle the draft/offseason anywhere near as well as they did this year, it won't be that long.

The niners played with us for the first half, made some adjustmentsand our coaching staff did not.

The 49ers were struggling to score against this defense for a full half. They didn't get a ton of separation until the refs started missing calls.

Their secondary is weak. They are screwed. They won't get to play Hurtt every game and other smarter teams will blitz their rookie QB.
God help them if they play a team that can put up points and rush the QB.
They need a team like Seattle that is terrible against the run and doesn't try to pressure the QB. Not sure too many of those are left in playoffs now.
