So someone is wrong on Kaeps time, and the tape shows Clowneys 4.53 is a lot faster than Kaeps supposed 4.53, that the NFL network says is a 4.63.

4.68 gets beat significantly worse by a 4.53 than that. If that was the case, any RB that runs a 4.4 would be caught by most LBers in the NFL.

I don't doubt that Clowney is faster.
What confuses me is that all of their "official" times have changed from previous years.
Vernon Davis "Official" 40 time was 4.38. This weekend they listed it at 4.40.
Colin Kaepernicks "Official" 40 time was 4.53. The Below is a screen grab from NFL Networks site...
Did they go back and revise all the old 40 times? No clue.
You can't say tho that Wilsons 40 was "significatly faster" because you are getting that number from the same place that lists Kaps at 4.53.
It confused me too but then I found several measurements that were not official on the NFL combine website. Kaep, Luck and Cams times were not the same ones shown on the simulcast. Several measurements like Abby's height are not updated with official ones. Etc.. The official 40 time may not be either of the two unofficial recorded times--I.e. Manzeil. It's likely the official times were based on video footage but I am not certain.Marvin49":3h9etgsh said:CPHawk":3h9etgsh said:They also showed Kaep vs Clowney and Cam(4.6), and Kaep comes in 3rd.
