So hot button issue that appears ubiquitous across the league with fans and players and coaches - crappy officiating is becoming the norm, even with more tools at their disposal.

Does the league address it? Or do we just accept it as part of the game now?

I’m not a blame the refs guy but yesterday put me on the edge - and I hear other teams complaining (Steelers) and watch other games and shake my head -

I think it will be one of the typical look the other way, shut up and enjoy your meal. But I honestly have a hard time engaging with games that are heavily influenced by officiating.

A bit of a rant. Bit of confusion for conversation. And a lot of questions going forward.

The league will never do anything significant to address it (e.g. full time officials, making everything reviewable) unless they start seeing a drop in ratings and revenue. With how popular the NFL is, I don't see that happening anytime soon.
