:sarcasm_on: I hate that we did not put up a better statistical game. What good is it to win if you can't do so impressively? :sarcasm_off:

What was it about the largest comeback EVER by a Seahawk team that wasn't impressive? :0190l:

Daketah, you know how a bunch of people on this forum made fun of Denver towards the end of last year, about how they barely won a number of games against vastly inferior opponents, and their 13-3 record was rather inflated, and a bunch of people predicted they'd be one & done in the playoffs?

Not that that's starting to sound a little familiar, or anything.

That it was against the 0-7 Bucs.

Ummm... It would be nice to win AND play with some competence for more than 2 quarters. Some good stat lines would be fun, as well.

A win may be a win, but wouldn't you like your team to also perform up to potential occasionally?

Apparently a lot of people around here hated us slapping the piss out of the Cardinals to the tune of 58-0 last year, and they never want to see a beating like that again.

Denver, that team that had that playoff game won except Rahim Moore couldn't stand in the right spot on a wild throw by Flacco into double coverage that Jones nearly stopped moving to catch? Moore was so far out of position that desperation throw worked and somehow the won game is now tied up on a 70 yard throw with less than a minute left.

The Broncos got beat by a Ravens team that was really dominate. So dominate in fact that they lost four out of their last five games. So I guess the formula is to lose four out of your last five and barely win your division (thanks tiebreaker).

I find it difficult to believe people still choose to compare this team to other teams. We are not the Denver Broncos and your constant harping on what might be is growing old. The TRUTH is, we put up over 400 yards of offense, 27 points and 26 first downs, went 75% on 3rd down, on a #9 ranked defense. Were there concerns? Sure. But no NFL team is without some problems. Are there concerns, sure. but pissing on everyone that wants to enjoy a win is small.

I see the latest board divide is team performance. Seems we cannot have an honest discussion about the team without some type of one upmanship. Since I cannot tell anyone else how to follow their favorite team, this is how I see it.

Our Defense is starting to show some cracks with the run game and the pash rush isn't as dominate as I hope it will be by the end of the season.

Our offense looks like it did in the first half of last year and our QB has been taking shots all season long.

Getting back our injured doesn't seem to guarantee an upswing in performance in my eyes.

They do not quit, no matter how inept they play.

They should have lost to Panthers, Texans and Rams. Bucs gave them a tough game but they were able to track them down and win.

The big offensive run at the end of last year was a curse as well as a ray of sunshine. It showed what they could become but it is an albatross because it isn't what they are right now.

I find it interesting game after game our talking heads would look at an upcoming opponent and say, this is the game we blow out the opponent. That is not the type of team the Seahawks are.

Maybe they do go out as 13-3 or 14-2 paper lions? Could happen. They need to first get to a Championship game before you can crown them, but the optimists want to make NY reservations now and the team's play has them hedging their bets.

I just see the main forum looking like the PWR or Shack. I hope the team's performance can catch up to our expectations because just like threads that end up going off topic about our rivals, this talk about happy/not happy with the record just seems like a circular argument with no real value other than to continue to antagonize.

Feeling repetitive, we WON... revel in it.
Squish it between your toes, let your winkie wiggle it.

ENJOY it - 'twas a MASSIVE COMEBACK!
