Interesting, it says Unger injured his triceps vs Jax. So the low snaps earlier were just him. That surprised me.

The condescension I hate the worst is the kind that forms on the grass and foliage overnight. Hate that.

yeah, I was guessing he had an injured right wrist. Whatever, doesn't really matter anymore. We'll see how he does when he comes back.

This.

Everyone who disagrees with the above really needs to take a reality pill or just be quiet and let the big boys discuss this situation.

The real question is: If the oline can't protect Wilson and he's going to have Watts and others breathing down his neck, if the oline can't block well enough to get the running game going, then what do the Hawks do to generate any offense? In this game we have two advantages: Our punter is WAYYYYYY better than their punter and should help us win the field position battle. Our defense should shut down their offense. With our oline in shambles - and with both pro bowlers and our RT out, that's shambles people, we are just as dead in the water offensively as Houston will be - but we have the better QB. So what do we do?

The two best defenses in the NFL are facing off and both look to have shaky offenses. Special Teams couldn't be more important. We have the advantage there. But it's 10AM in Texas.

This game looks like one team or the other is going to win ugly.

"...let the big boys discuss this situation"

LOL, the big boys are discussing it. They are the coaches of the Seahawks and they probably discuss it 12 hours per day. We here are fans posting on a forum, and nothing we say or do will change anything on the field. Nor should it. So relax and enjoy the convo.
My point being that the people trying to discuss this situation LIKE ADULTS are being called "whiners" by people behaving like little kids.

That's really hurtful Salish. I act like a teenager, not a "little kid".

Teenagers give reasons why the OL play appears worse than it actually is.

Bet the under.

Having a hard time finding that silver lining with this news. I guess the closest I can come is that, should we lose, we will be boosting the artificial confidence of the 9ers. Everything happens for a reason and the only thing more fun than beating the Niners at home, early in the season, would be beating them in Dec when they are fighting for a play off birth or the division crown. But that's only fun if our record ends up the best in the NFC, too.

Juvenile is juvenile, no matter which end of the debate you fall on. You know, like saying "nice try" or "epic fail" or implying that those who disagree are "little boys."

Follow your own rules, Salish. :141847_bnono:

not feeling very optimistic about this game anymore, hoping we find a way, thinking it will now be very difficult to come out of houston with a victory. I am prepared for either at this point.

The Texans have the number 2 ranked defense behind the Hawks.

Their defense is very good. They are legit. It's not just JJ Watt and Brian Cushing.

Wade Phillips runs a very aggressive style of play. He will do his best to confuse our young, inexpereinced line. Shoot, our number 1's would have a difficult time handling the adjustments.

And, guess who makes the line calls as the Texans defense shifts around?

Our team is very good. Our team has quality depth across the board, let's hope we can survive.

Just being realistic.

#2 in yards, however they are 25th in points, granted a lot of those points have been due to schaub turning it over and lackluster ST's play. I think our offense will struggle, but in the end we hold on, getting out to a 7-0 lead would be gigantic. I'm going 14-12 in an ugly win.

Are we letting Rivera play centerfield? That's the real question.
