They are going to find a place for Alvin Bailey to play. They moved him all over the place and he played well. They are going to cement him in as a regular soon. If they dont after today they are retarded!

Only think keeping him on the bench is the return of Okung and Guacamole!

I've been wondering all year why we haven't seen more of him. His preseason play at least warranted spot duty

He switched between RG/LG in college (as in, during games) so they're probably loving his flexibility. Definitely helps keep the guys fresh.

He looked great out there, no matter what spot he was filling. Atlanta was sending lots of crazy blitz looks at us, too, and we just weren't having it. Picked it up damn near every time. I believe Wilson was only sacked once all game, and that was on a shoestring tackle as he was scrambling towards daylight. Doesn't seem like he was hit much, despite the Falcons' every attempt to blitz him.

They will probably look at the best option Breno or Mcq...and decide which best fits our scheme. Now it is game on within the game.

Loved how they used him today. Really showed off his skills and flexibility. I think its time for him to see more PT.

I don't know if it'd be a competition between the two. More McQuistan vs guard swing guy role/depth and Breno vs Bowie/drafted RT competition.

Both could be gone, both could stay depending on the talent we have here. I'm sure JS would like to replace them with rookie contract players.

I've never been so pumped to sit down and watch the line tape. I really wanted to see the different combinations. Got home to find out my power flicked or something and I only have half of the first quarter.

I don't know that I've ever seen a team rotate linemen during a series. Something had to be wrong with Sweezy, right?

I am not as fluent as some on here but it seems to me that while Sweezy is a real good run blocker his inconsistency comes from

running straight up the field every down-which makes for porous pass blocking. Field Gulls does a nice analysis of our guys upfront.

We are 9 and 1. I have been impressed with Mrob, Willson, and of course Miller does a great job too. I have seen Carp make great plays yet he wiffs some too.

Bailey and Bowe looked good together.

BINGO!! Totally frustrated!
After the final touchdown, I accidentally turned the power off on the recorder & didn't notice until game over. :(

McQuistan is fine at Guard and more consistent than Carpenter.

He's not a Tackle and never has been. I don't get the hate.

I cain't say I disagree with ya TeeDub. Alvin Bailey showed that the promise in pre season he exhibited does carry over to the real season. this is soo cool.

I have to give major props to john p heir (can't spell French) at C too. Bang-up job today.

Lynch was out of this world first 10 minutes of the game.

2nd and 10 near the end of the 2nd quarter RW has a nice completion to Baldwin where the announcer for the highlight clip commented on how much time RW had. Bailey was playing LT at the time and did a great job. The kid definitely needs to get more snaps. He's way more athletic than Ginger. Carpenter is improving with each game and I recon he grades out pretty well for this one. Too bad so many people are frozen in time with their assessment of the dude.
