Everyone has that one goofy photo they do. What a great woman she is for going along with this. My girlfriend won't even consider going to one game.

I'm guessing you're not seeing that as a long term relationship?

Call me old fashion, but that might be too much.

How so? It was really just for the pictures. Okay the lime green tux shirts weren't just for the pictures, the jerseys were the groomsman gifts. I think it's cool.

I mean I can understand those invitation pictures, my cousin and his wife did the same thing with their Hawks jerseys. But the wedding photos? But ayyyy to each their own.
You're right. Whatever it's fun, glad they enjoyed themselves, but if they were huge Spiderman fans or something, I doubt the reaction here would be the same.

i work with the bride's father, heard he wasn't very excited about the whole seahawks theme.

I guess it's a good thing it wasn't his wedding. Good for ol' dad being a good sport about it in the end, at least I assume he was. Each marches to their own drummer I suppose.

I'm all for the fun thing personally. I've seen a lot of very different weddings, the ones that were always the most fun to attend were the non traditional ones. Spiderman would be strange, but at least it would be memorable to the couple who chose it. I'm sure these kids will always have fond memories of their wedding day and the goofy pictures along with it.

Yeah i agree. I think the Seahawk theme is pretty cool.

I don't think he's into sports much. I was surprised to learn he even had kids.

It's their wedding, it's not overboard if it's the way they both want to remember their wedding day, anybody else's opinion (dad included) means NADA.... Kutos to them for making their experience unique and fun...

That's awesome!

That kind of team devotion is usually reserved for fans of other teams. It wasn't unheard of at all to see that when I lived out in Wisconsin. I still remember they had volunteers who would knit Packers beanies for newborn babies. When my son was born out there, amongst the various paperwork was a Green Bay Packers season ticket application pre filled out with the child's information -- just waiting for parental signature.

Congrats to the married couple but is this really what we've been reduced to at this stage of the off season?

Thank your favorite Deity that we didn't have to go through another uniform thread. That was like tradition around here. I am sure Sturm could post a few puke icons to get that debate going ... hee hee ...

As far as this item, at some point there needs to be a dividing line. Or you can be like the fan that got buried sitting in his favorite team's recliner. maybe that's all there is for some? I'm obsessed just like many here but as my boy Eastwood would say "A man has got to know his limitations".

I don't know why anyone here would be uptight about those photos. They look more like wedding reception photos than wedding photos. The lime green might be an odd choice for coordinated outfits, but I seriously doubt everyone wore their jerseys at the altar.
