And I’m not talking drug tested like what my co workers think when they see me walking into the office yelling “6-7! 6-7!”

In my honest opinion, I believe the one final test for the 2025 Seahawks to really set themselves up for success and win the Superb Owl is to have a COME FROM BEHIND VICTORY.

This team is so used to playing with a lead. They have led at points in all nine of their games, but they have yet to win that come from behind, clutch your cheeks type of performance. That, imo, will really give this team the confidence to beat anyone, and will most importantly give them confidence to know they can do that against the other top teams come playoff time.

Yes, blowing out the teams is fun, but that isn’t being tested. They’re now getting in the mode of playing one half of football.

I want the Rams to go up like 14-3 on these guys at halftime. Why? Because they need, and I mean really desperately need, to claw back from the brink of defeat. There isn’t a more satisfying victory out there to truly bring this team together.

We need the Seahawks to be tested!

Stopped reading when you said you want us down 14-3 at halftime. That's crazy logic.

My point and the thesis for my thread is very clear.

This team isn’t going to blow through everyone the rest of the way. I want them poised and ready to win if the other team gets the early jump. If they can get experience with that, it’ll give them that much more confidence to perform if and when they do find themselves in that position in a must win game.

I get what you're saying, but why introduce unnecessary drama into the game when we can just curb stomp everyone? lol
Because they’re not going to blow out everyone.

If they’re down against a legit good team like the Eagles, Lions, Rams, etc, I want them ready to transition into that type of comeback mentality.

I want, we should all, want this team to prove it to themselves that they can win every game. They need adversity to make them even stronger.

Yeah, we've only seen Sam/Hawks pull out one close game, the Card game when we blew our lead. The other two close games we had were our losses to the 49ers and the Bucs, and both games pretty much ended with botched plays with the ball in Sam's hands. Sam is still a bit of an unknown quantity when it comes to winning the big game under pressure for us. There's only one way to find out, and I'm sure it's coming at some point this year, maybe next week.

I mean - yeah! Ill be all sorts of happy to be listening to the bitching about how poor we played in the second half against the Rams in another 44-22 victory.

It’s a poorly reasoned thesis. “Hey, let’s play really crappy for 3 1/2 quarters so we can show people how really badass we are by coming back after playing like dog poop.” No. No. No.

You sound like Pete Carroll. Illogical. You probably subscribe to the “Can you win it in the 1st quarter”? mantra, that has recently proved wrong as well.
