Well..here's the way I see it.

1) Niner fans should hate on us just like we hate on them, we're rivals, and we're evenly matched teams slated to win the NFC West/NFC/NFL
2) We both have great ammo we can use in arguments, they got to the superbowl and succeeded where we failed (beat ATL), we smashed them in our most recent game against each other.
3) When you're a good team, you're going to get hatred. When you suck, no one cares, they'll make fun of you, but no one hates you (I.e. the browns)
4) given #3, anything that can be used against you, will be. Honestly outside of CK and Harbaugh being douches, is there really anything to hate about the Niners staff? We have Sherman's mouth and the PED issues. Until Rodgers started complaining about the Hail Mary call (if the tables were flipped, we would have done the same thing), I really don't think anyone here disliked the Packers, now they do.

That's my 2 cents. We should embrace the hate, it comes with actually being considered a winner.

Honestly, I don't think 49ers fans come on here and talk trash. I'd argue that Seahawks fans talk way more trash than the 49ers posters. You guys don't like our team and therefore devote hundreds of threads about our team that are filled with misinformation and hate.

The one thing that 49ers fans can be blamed for on this forum is the fact that we have a tendency to turn a thread about Percy Harvin into a thread about the 49ers. Either way, it's not like the Seahawks fans don't add fuel to the fire.

I guess that's why you can go to the 49ers main message board and find the 100 plus page thread title "Come here to laugh at the Seattle Seahawks" or better yet go to YouTube and find one of the TTC Niner Empire video makers and see how many videos were made of one of your kind laughing and making jokes of the Percy Harvin injury, lets see how many vids you find with one of our guys making fun of Crabtree, don't worry you won't and l'll wait..... Not to include a Madden 25 poll or a NFL Network polls on Facebook, Twitter, or NFL.com regarding anything Seahawks you 49er fans come quick as hell and hijack it when It's not even about you. Not saying Seahawks fans don't do that and are perfect because some of us do the same, but if you look at what I'm talking about its sooooo bad. IJS

Even had they won that game, things may have been the same-ish. i.e. lets say we lost. The following week maybe we got amp'd up and won instead of losing against the Rams, and by the same notion perhaps the Packers lose against the Saints that same week coming off a high beating us at home. Perhaps given all this the Rams finish out their game against the Niners rather than tie, and we were NFC West champs end of the year, still make playoffs but this time with a home opener. Things happened the way they did, and really glad the packers got their asses handed to them by the Niners.

No one hated us before, and look at our history of mediocrity.

I think people hate the Seahawks because we're getting a lot of hype, but haven't "won anything yet". Some fans think you can't call a team good until they win a Superbowl.

The Niners/Hawks back and forth is just rivalry. We're not getting into it with the Cards or Rams....why is that ?

The world as we know it has changed over the last decade. It's now the computer age. These days, 10-12 year olds are computer users and many seem to like to play nasty on blogs. The best strategy to avoid confrontation from these children may be to wait until after their bedtime to read and comment in blogs. From many of the posts I've seen from FartyWhiners kids, they are all a bunch of dumb little kids that just learned how to type and don't know their ass from a tea kettle.

I don't do noticing or caring of other teams hating on the Hawk-boys, but I I noticed a large influx of sea-hate this off season. I don't do facebook but I do IG & Twitter. It seems Everytime the Hawk-boy post something on IG a whole swarm of 9ers fans come and start taking trash about us and cause a huge ruckus, calling the Hawk-boys a horrible team and having nothing good to say. I thing with all this seasons hype other teams are feeling left out and feel the obligation to piss in our Cheerios. The NFL has turned into a west coast bias and now every bro is mad! Is it just me or are the 9-ers in super attack mode this offseason?

No. East Coast bias is alive and strong. One season doesn't change all that. You've got something like 2/3 of the population on the eastern seaboard. I think what you meant to say was something more like the balance of power. Don't mistake that for media and fan bias.

As far as the rest of the post... I hear ya. There is a lot of hate, disrespect... all that. It's not just from 49ers fans (though, perhaps they're the most annoying.) Fans on the east coast think the Hawks and us fans are inferior just because of the location of the team. As much press as the Seahawks are getting... don't anyone be fooled that they're at risk of being over-hyped. While the rest of the NFL teams may take them somewhat seriously, east coast fans really don't think much of the Hawks. Unless they win the Super Bowl, none of that will even begin to change.

these people you speak of live in Detroit , Philly, Pittsburg, Buffalo , Atlanta. I'd bet that most of those fans have never been to Seattle, IMHO Seattle is one of THE BEST big cities in the country. I say eff the haters. GO HAWKS.
