How the hell can anyone believe that the niners had the best depth over the past few years? They played their starters more than any team in the league over that time span. If their depth was that good, why didn't the depth players get any playing time? The niners could have avoided injuries and fatigue and may have ended a couple of their seasons a lot better if their depth was actually any good. I think the "niner depth" is basically a myth.

I'm shocked.

Well, I will dumb it down so it doesn't go so far over your head. Prior to last season when the niners had such "great depth", none of their "depth" got any playing time. When the niner "depth" actually had meaningful playing time, the niners went 8-8. Better depth would have gotten better results.

...I'm sorry...are you under the impression I didn't understand your complex analysis the first time? Thank you so much for breaking it all down for me.

I'd be interested to see though how the Seahawks would have playing if 3/4 of the LOB missed most of if not the entire season (and only the worst of the 4 was healthy) AND endured questions ALL SEASON about the fate of their coach.

Guess we'll never know.

You probably won't ever know because the Seahawks use their depth to keep their starters from getting fatigued which helps to prevent injuries... had the niners done that, maybe they could have avoided some of their injuries and retirements.. Instead, the niners ran their starters into the ground. Probably because their depth wasn't as good as niner fans think it was.

Denialzone still has a "Baalke appreciation thread" when he hasn't done anything for several years now.

1) Look at when it was created.
2) We'll find out this year what he's been doing.

For forever it has been the plan to do the field over after the Taylor Swift concert that was just held there. That's what you're looking at, and also why they were practicing on the practicing fields rather than relaying it last week. .

One thing I noticed this past week...the grass in Houston had clearly just been redone but I didn't see any uproar.

Guess its selective.

Levi's is like field turf compared to Candlestick esp in the playoffs.

Hard to take the rivalry serious when every aspect of the franchise is nitpicked .

The Giants' fans hate the 49ers just as much but don't resort to much outside of Harbaugh and the rivalry hate.
