I posted my thoughts on the Willis post.I do want to say that people assume the Cards will be great this year ect but that is
not necessarily the case .Palmer is older ,Fitz and anyone I missed.They have holes on the D and on offense still.The great DC left.My 49er part of this.I hate to see this happen to a team that gave us hard fought battles and made us better for it.We will see if the Cards can fill the void.It just may be the Rams lol.

Apparently Ringless is and I think it's just a way to keep his mind off his own team. At this point he has to be delusional if he thinks his team will be as good as last season, things are not exactly peachy AZ, or it's just another case of him brown-nosing you Hawk fans again.

Actually, at this moment, I don't think we will be the same team as the last 2 years. Pretty hard to lose a lot of your players and keep it going.

Quite obviously we are thin at WR, CB, maybe even safety if Johnson leaves. Throw in Carpenter and we will need LG.

And that is just today's feeling. By the end of the week that could all change.

Is there a rubric in place to grade out the Cards fan's concern about the 9ers vs the 9er fan's concern over what people on a Hawks board think about the 9ers? Either way, you both get A+ in my book.

It was very interesting and apt that he resurrected this thread. Lots of folks had good foresight on the 9ers upcoming and now ongoing implosion, as well as the state of the division at the time.

And yeah, things are pretty much awesome in Hawk town. Yeah, being a yard away from consecutive Lombardis is a little sucky, but not like 8-8 sucky. Not sucky like losing the franchise's winningest coach, the franchise's all-time rusher, the franchise's best linebacker, possibly the franchise's most dominant defensive lineman over the past decade, or facing questions and friction about the franchise QB all in the span of a few months. It's almost as sucky as going 1-2 in conference championship games in recent years and having no new rings to show for it, but not quite.

You guys are looking at this the wrong way. Sure they are likely going to be among the bottom dwellers of the league for a while but they will also be back picking in the top ten again so after another decade of top ten picks they will be primed to bring in a good coach and come close to winning it all again.

Lol look, I just despise the 49ers and its more of the fans thing. Things I really dislike. You can't discuss football with 99% of 49er fans..... Why, because my opinion doesn't count because Im a Cardinals fan. I can discuss football on this site. The other thing that irritates me is every year you guys say you are the deepest team in the NFL.... You guys can never actually admit the better team won on any given Sunday.... The only logical reasons to explain a loss are the Refs or, injuries etc. And I can't deny that this has been entertaining because in my entire life. I have never seen a train wreck like this, and this one is more brutal than a real life train wreck.... The implosion is resurrecting itself because it just won't stop....

My team is having a much better offseason than the 49ers and last year we were clearly already the better team Even with a third string QB. We didn't lose one of the best coaches in the NFL this offseason but instead we kept ours. We don't have our FO leaking leaks like a bucket with 20 holes punched in it. Our Coach wasn't homeless and sleeping in his car a few years ago. We have already gotten younger this offseason. We got two of the top 10 FA's available and the party doesn't even start until tomorrow. You guys on the other hand had players walk out, retire, flat out leave, fail physicals, rumors spread, arrests continue..... I think there is a big difference in the direction our organizations are heading. Sure we might not be better than the Hawks, but like last year we are certainly going to make it a challenge.... And they certainly won't be enjoying a turkey on our logo. People didn't even want to take coaching jobs in SF... That speaks volumes.... I think a lot of players feel the same way....
