even if he avoided that year it still tells you sherm is the best corner in the game and a serious problem to our offense everytime we play them. we need to break his f**kin legs next year.

of course, from the same thread, lmao
Sherman is garbage. The most overrated player in the NFL.

Sure wish we had a QB like Russell Wilson
:13: ... oh wait... we already have THE Russell Wilson

I was just reading that thread too. I found this post to be a good one:

I think it's kindda hilarious that everything we wished would happen to the hawks, happened to us. lol

- legal troubles
- injuries
- front office problems
- coaching problems
- QB regression
- etc...

I wouldn't point and laugh so hard...have you been reading these forums lately?

My favorite reader comment after hearing about how bad the new stadium is:

sgwood650 says,"The Stick sucked too."

Talent-wise maybe. Matchup wise, the Ravens were uniquely qualifyed to give NFC teams fits. Denver was just soft. They could cut through AFC defenses like a hot knife through butter, but I could see the 49ers beating them last year. Probably not by as much as we did, and maybe a little less without Bowman, but they could have beaten them.
Agree. I think Frisco handles the Donks pretty well......say by 15 or so.

Hating the niners as much as I do, I will NEVER believe that they would have beaten the donkos. They lost to two of the best passing offenses last year. They were stout against the run, but gave up a bunch against the pass. Plus, Keeporpick seems to choke in big games.
They sure looked bad vs the Broncos this year.
They had just lost Iupati and Bowman for the year. It would have been tough for them.

Yes, but you can't tell me this year's Niners are as good as last year's. They played without Alldumb in the Broncos game, and people have the book on Kaepernick now. Besides, Denver upgraded its defense after we blew their doors off. Ware, Talib, and Ward have all been upgrades for them. Plus, it was in Denver, not a neutral site like SBXLVIII.

I remember the statement by several that their 2013 draft proves why the have the deepest and most talented roster in the entire league and was proof why they would be on top for years to come and that was before even any training camps.. I laughed then and I'm laughing even harder now.

If a Seahawk fan made that statement I would tell him how dumb he was also. Talk about a new fan base. Anyone who has been around for even a couple years would know how dumb that statement is but on the webzine no one but myself had any problem with it.

A lot of them are still spouting off that they have the deepest team in the league...BY FAR. Just like during their decade of suck, fans and players alike spout off about how they lost and it had absolutely nothing to do with the other team. In other words, we hear that the better team lost...EVERY TIME the whiners lose.

Implosion is now complete. They completely cleaned house. Most of the coaches now shown the door. I really don't understand the thought process of York. They will now more closely resemble Jacksonville than Seattle until they can rebuild things. The players, schemes, and philosophy on both sides of the ball will now have to be completely restructured. I know the DL coach is running things but to fire everyone else is costly. New systems means personnel on the roster aren't necessarily a good fit. I'm sure Free agents will now looks for opportunities else where. Rebuilding through the draft is a long process. IMO, They might be 2-3 years away from a winning record again.

This is good news for Seattle but I am dismayed at how such a storied franchise could take such a huge step back. I will miss the challenege a they brought us.

non-stop hate postings, innumerable seahawk threads, comparing apples to oranges, blame-game flame wars, over-the-top ego spouting, and self-cannibalizing... things are even more morose than usual over there. its a sad state of affairs

Marvin,
I know a lot of people try to get a rise out of you here, and basically spin is the word everyone seems to use whether you are spinning or not. But you are certainly one of the classiest posters I have seen on any message board and you are truly a fan of the game!

Well I am happy your bringing class and humility in, Kiffen as a OC should be close to having the Billy Graham on your staff.
