I live in the Houston area and I may be the only one rooting for the M's. I'll wear my M's shirt to the brewery tour tomorrow.

Felix just doesn't look right. Wonder how much or if he is still injured. Nice catch by Martin. Let's get some runs.

Ugh... Pressure is on and the are pooping the bed. This isn't Oakland or LAA, so tonight is the real test. Hope for a comeback

so far this is reminding me of 2 years ago when felix was pitching in toronto late in the season when we were just a few games out of the wild card like this year. Pitched horribly. Hopefully he can stop the bleeding....but really bad mistakes by Seager and Marte...

also Houston has had our number this year so i was expecting a tough series

Lots of stupid mistakes so far and unfortunately Felix has no command. Seems like whenever we have a hot road trip they come home to Safeco for a major let down.

I have a bad feeling Felix is going to kill the M's momentum tonight. I mean honestly, if they make the playoffs, there's no way "the King" can be trusted. He's a shell. A very sad shell.

Agreed. At this point if we somehow get the wild card spot I don't even want him pitching in it.

Dammit Marte! Why is he not in the minors!? He is far and away my most hated Mariner. Brad Miller is a rockstar infielder compared to this guy. I'm so sick of his shitty fielding and his constant caught looking strikeouts. O'Malley should have taken his job. I'm not one for guys losing their jobs due to injury, but that would've been an exception.

Agreed. O'Malley is a better all around player. Better D, and grinds out at bats, puts the ball in play. Although I hate Cishek and Vincent more, but Marte is a close 3rd.

Yes, Vincent is awful. He's right behind Marte for me. I can't stand how all the local radio pundits here talk about how good he's been this season. No he hasn't. Yeah, he got off to a decent start early in the year, but he's such a liability out of the pen. He's almost guaranteed to get in big trouble every time he saunters up to the mound. He's Benoit bad.

It's a tragic irony that the very year we desperately need Felix to be Felix to finally reward him for his loyalty to the M's by getting into the playoffs, his skills are literally deteriorating right in front of our eyes.

So true. He's only 30 but so many years throwing 200+ innings is catching up with him. Hopefully he's got a little left in the tank to battle down this final stretch. We'll certainly need him.
