Nope.

Darnold is Geno 2.0
He did not need to try to be so trickyStupid screen plays with no blocking as well.

Nah, I’m ok, but only cause it’s week 1 and I still believe this is not what Mike wants this offense to be. The run game is comingThis basically ruined my weekend.
How about you, Sperry? bleh.
So is playing the Patriots.67 rushing yards is a luxury, the Raiders had 54 yards, 10 of which was by their QB.

No, but you have to lead the team into the red zone, to throw a RZ INT.
Look at the replay and it was his motion in wind up cocking his arm backwards when he hits Lucas, no forward motion with ball in hand,.He DID lead his team into the red zone. (didn't you see where on the field they were at that point? Sam led the team down the field to be in the position, at least..)
If Abe Lucas's dumbass wasn't shoved into Darnold as he was throwing the ball, he could've helped get his team into the ENDZONE (which is what I think you were trying to say, being all smartass'y).
BTW, that should've been a Forward-passing motion and not a fumble, imo.
Yeah I just saw it.Look at the replay and it was his motion in wind up cocking his arm backwards when he hits Lucas, no forward motion with ball in hand,.
Patriots are bad and Mike vrabel doesn’t scare me but Geno is consistent, high floor low ceiling67 rushing yards is a luxury, the Raiders had 54 yards, 10 of which was by their QB.

It's hard to have pocket awareness on a play that's happening behind you. If you look at the film, both Bosa and Lucas were behind him, which is why when he reached back to throw the ball, it was dislodged. Nothing he could've done there, just a great play by Bosa.Pocket awareness is part of the job.
I will say that Darnold was actually better than I expected today, and the overall results from the offense ended up being surprisingly close to what I was expecting.
I didn't think the defense was as good as most people here did ("top-five," etc.), but I was still a little disappointed in some of what I saw from the defense today.
