Geno might've thrown an interception this game but he wouldn't tunnel vision only on JSN. He would spread the ball around and get more yards than that.
You got me going, and I looked it up:
It was 24/33, 362 yards with ZERO run support, on a cold rainy Boston day.

Did I say ZERO run support?

Well Geno did have 10 more passes than Sam, and Sam only had 67 yards of rush support against a far superior team.

No, but you have to lead the team into the red zone, to throw a RZ INT.

He DID lead his team into the red zone. (didn't you see where on the field they were at that point? Sam led the team down the field to be in the position, at least..)

If Abe Lucas's dumbass wasn't shoved into Darnold as he was throwing the ball, he could've helped get his team into the ENDZONE (which is what I think you were trying to say, being all smartass'y). 🤬

BTW, that should've been a Forward-passing motion and not a fumble, imo.

Look at the replay and it was his motion in wind up cocking his arm backwards when he hits Lucas, no forward motion with ball in hand,.

Yeah I just saw it.

The way the football went forward like that in real-time made me think it was a forward pass.

Still, though...Abe had ONE JOB and he failed to do it.

Just one more second.....if he had held Bosa off for just one more damn second, that's a potential TD to basically anyone that was open.

Just want to bump this up.

That was definitely NOT Sam Darnold.

What that was...was Kubiak thinking he had Spencer Rattler as his QB so he put the shackles on Darnold.

I fully expect the Shackles to be off next week since he's not facing off against his former place of employment.

We played a divisional foe - and a pretty damn good one at that - we played quite poorly - yet still had a chance to pull out a win in the last minutes - but did not get it done.

Yes I wanted to see more on offense - but this isn't a wrist slitting, fire everyone event. It was a shittily played football game and I have to believe that the team and staff will learn from it.

I still trust Coach M to do what needs doing.

Looked like they used Walker on the outside and Chab on the inside, is that right? If so I wonder if the 49ers figured that out?

Pocket awareness is part of the job.

I will say that Darnold was actually better than I expected today, and the overall results from the offense ended up being surprisingly close to what I was expecting.
I didn't think the defense was as good as most people here did ("top-five," etc.), but I was still a little disappointed in some of what I saw from the defense today.
It's hard to have pocket awareness on a play that's happening behind you. If you look at the film, both Bosa and Lucas were behind him, which is why when he reached back to throw the ball, it was dislodged. Nothing he could've done there, just a great play by Bosa.
