I want to see two TEs and a full house backfield and not just on short yardage. The misdirection with a full house backfield may open up the running game a bit. Throwing out of it is a blast because you never know who it's going to. They start blocking and slip out for a catch. TEs should love that scheme.

and Walker would go 5 yards backwards on the same play
I'm not criticizing Zach. I'm criticizing the coaching staff for not recognizing their player's strengths and playing to that. They had 4 and less than a yard. They should have done the Philly tush push. Sam Darnold is 6'3. If Jalen Hurts can do it, he should be able to get 1/2 yard by stretching the ball and falling forward.

It's not a Zach vs. Kenneth Walker. Both have their strengths and liabilities. Zach's strength is not running outside. It's a proven fact, week after week.

This was driving me nuts. JSN almost messed up like this as well after catching a pass long enough to initially get the needed yards for a 1st then ran backwards and had to fight to get the yardage back.

But, Walker did it multiple times and I think always lost significant yardage.

Agreed. Plus why do they continually try to run Charbonnet outside? He loses yards on that play due to his lack of speed. 9/10 times they run it, they lost yards on that play. Stop forcing it.
I think it was supposed to be an inside zone run but Bradford missed his block. Charbs had to bounce outside.

Thing is, if Bradford makes the block, the play works.

At the end of the day I understand the thinking. We are supposed to be a physical run based team. That inside zone run isn't complicated if it's executed and we SHOULD be able to hit it 7 times out of 10. Might as well work on it now and put it on tape so that opposing teams know we aren't just always going to run behind Zabel when we need the yards.

It should have worked
