Agreed!

Thanks, JK! You were indeed part of history and deserve your SB ring with this team.

Best of luck as you move on.

Nothing but respect for Kearse. Dude wasn't wanted by anyone coming out of college, busted his rear bouncing on and off our practice squad, and eventually worked his way into a key role on a team that went to back-to-back Super Bowls. Not many people have the drive and work ethic to pull something like that off.

That being said, it was time for both sides to move on. The Seahawks can work on developing their plethora of young wideouts, while Kearse gets a new start for a team desperate for anything at the receiver slot. This will be a great chance for Kearse to re-establish his value.

Kearse took more flack on this board than he deserved IMO. He did a very good job for us and I will always be grateful.

Good Luck with the Jets Kearse!

I'll second that. Never understood all the trash talk around here about him, all he ever did was bust his ass for the team.

Oh well, haters gonna hate. Wonder who the nw flogging post will be...

I liked kearse, always busting his ass and always had that chip on his shoulder. This play was legendary.

Thanks for the memories and the SB Kearse. Never forget jumping up and running around screaming after the 2014 NFCCG catch.

Can't forget about that foot catch in that one game that will not be mentioned. If we would have won he would have been immortalized on that one play.

He deserved to be traded and not cut. I'm happy for his new beginning. He has a chance to be a solid contributor for the Jets. He just needs to hold onto the ball.

JK was a part of many big moments during his time here, seems appropriate that his departure is a part of a big moment (IMO) as well. Good luck Jermaine, you've made your mark in Seahawk history forever!

Thanks for starting this thread man. Kearse absolutely deserves it IMO.

Thanks for everything Jermaine. You provided some of the happiest football moments of my life and I'll always be grateful for that.

And I know the game was outta hand at this point and it probably didn't matter, but this is one of my favorite Seahawk TD's ever. Kearse spun his way out like 4 tackles. I thought it was awesome.

Edit: I guess you gotta click on the "Watch on Youtube" link if you want to watch it. It's worth a minute of your time IMO :D

All time favorite Kearse moment and second favorite Seahawk's game ever. Was watching in a bar and everyone was down and quiet and then... BOOOOOOM!
